Going to Sea World in 16 days. Debating on going on Journey to Atlantis, but I'm not a fan of roller coasters, but love water rides. I love, love, love Splash Mountain, but get sick on Big Thunder Mountain at Disney. What should I do??? Will I be able to handle it???

Thanks!!

I would say yes, this will be fine. While it has "coaster" sections, it has much more the feel of a water ride, IMO. You will expect to get soaked, but in all our times on this, we have never gotten more than damp, just fyi.

I did this with DS who was 7 at the time (may 2012) and he screamed. The hill is much steeper IMO than Splash Mountain. I wasn't expecting the drop to be that big/steep. He loved Splash Mountain and rode it about 6+ times our last time at MK and he was just 4 (by 2 weeks) then. It wasn't a rollar coaster, just be prepared for the drop

It's 98% water ride 2% coaster, the only section that has somewhat of a coaster section is in the final section of the ride, and that's a very short section, basically a short curved drop where the track then rises with another curve and the car is stopped as it hits a flat area with water.
