My husband has just gotten into Disney pin collecting. He has been a pin collector for years mostly Olympic and World Championship pins, but now we have just started collecting Disney pins.
Last week I read about "Disney's Pin Celebration 2003 Journey Through Time hosted by Epcot" that is happening in a few days. I know the event is closed and too late to register and he wouldn't have needed a hotel room/park tickets anyway as we live in Orlando and have PAPs. Is there any event that isn't for registered guests only? Can he wander around and look at any pin displays? Are their places he can watch the pin trading? Are there possibly any informal trading areas outside of the regular convention? I know the workshops would just be for registered guests but is there anything that a new collector could just observe. He'd love to be able to look at others collections even if he wasn't allowed to trade.
Thanks for any information that you can give this newbie.
