I can't figure out what this is. Is it a ride or just a lab with hands-on activities? We have a 2 year old DS and a 5 year old DS. Would this attraction be age appropriate for them? When we head to Epcot The Living Seas is number one on our list. Should we add this to the list too? Any other Epcot suggestions are welcome too!

Much Thanks!

It is a ride but when you exit the ride you get into an area where you experiment. Many children love figment. The ride basically brings you through the five senses, smell, hearing, etc. The only thing that might scare them is when you get into the area for sound they have a very loud locomotive sound. After the ride they have a place where you step on different pictures to get different sounds, a place where you make music by moving your hands, a place where you can get your picture taken and you are made to look like an animal and then you can email it (this is free). I think there were a few more things there but this is what I remember.

the ride also gets completely dark when they talk about hearing. My DD3 was a little scared but we just kept singing the song (it gets in your head like It's a Small World!! :earseek: ) After the ride (which is nice to cool off if it's hot too) the kids got to do cool things, some were mentioned like the music with their hands and stepping on pictures. There was a Kodak picture demo that we missed but it seemed pretty crowded and then lots of computers to take your pic and do some cool graphics with.
I must say, this was not something we were going to do (DD6 and dd3) but we came out of Honey I Shrunk the Audience and saw Figment at his meet and greet. Since there was absollutley NO wait to go in, (last week of May 2005). we did. My kids really enjoyed it.

I think that most children will like the ride, and LOVE the hands on stuff that they get to do after. It ties it all together with a nice little Disney ribbon!! :goodvibes

i liked the OLD journey better. i felt it was done better and had more magic. the whole story made more sense to me.
