Journey back to ME!!- I'm getting bugged!!

Off to Ebay a bit - yes, Tracy, Ebay is SLOW right now, but it usually is right before Halloween. Hopefully it will pick up! I loved all your 'rewards'. Do you do Pinecone? It's about the only one I do - don't make much, but it's rather fun.

Thanks Julie. :goodvibes I do My Points, Club Mom, Pinecone, and Survey Spot.

I hope eBay picks up this weekend! Since we're leaving for WDW in about a month, I only have a couple more weeks to list and sell. I can't believe that not one of my auctions has a bid yet! :( Very frustrating!

Have you ever sold anything on Craigslist? I'm thinking about it...

Hope you have a great weekend!

Well, I totally missed posting here yesterday ....oops!!

But, I did post my food into WW online and stayed OP.

Today is church, then the zoo, then Ebay and catching up on some rebates, etc. I'm about 1/2 done with changing out my winter clothes. Good thing as it's COLD here in my house.

DH made it to Iowa and what is he spending his time doing????? Watching TV and visiting the floating casino (isn't that what he does at home???)

I'll get on here later. Have a great Sunday, everyone!

Wow, your neighbors sound psycho! Kinda tempting to save all your dog poop for about a month, put in their yard and let them see what your dogs can really do! Maybe they'll move. It sounds like you are busy as usual, I hope ds20 got those applications in. Did you get to go to the casino? Hope you won a bunch! I think you are doing well with your food given your current state of affairs. Eating some goodies in moderation never hurt anybody. And its definitely comfort food weather! Hang in there, hope your Sunday is a good one!

Amy

Yes, Amy, my neighbors are rather weird! I wish we could move! When we bought this house we asked about neighbors and the realtor and the people living in the house said everyone was friendly and wonderful, lots of kids, etc. Well, we've tried to talk to neighbors, meet neighbors and NOTHING. The kids in the neighborhood never leave their houses. Very disappointing! But I love my view and the location near the HS. Plus the way houses have increased, we could never afford a different house that was large enough. Oh well...... Maybe that's the Surprise TY is talking about... Maybe he is going to rescue me from my Poo-flinging neighbors!! :thumbsup2

Back to reality......

DS20 was supposed to get up so we could leave at 11 to go look for jobs. I tried from 10:45(called the minute we got out of church) until 4:45 and have given up. DD, DS17 and I were going to go to the zoo. DS17 came home from church -he went with friends to their church instead of with DD and I - and didn't want to go to the zoo b/c none of his friends wanted to. He did a little school, DD & I went to look for a movie w/ no luck which made her get grumpy, then he wanted to drive his cycle to the other side of town to go to a Spanish church with some people from work tonight.....NOT!! I said I would drive, which threw him into an uncustomary 6 year old tantrum mode. Gee, I'm having so much fun today!!

I'm trying to get some Ebay listed, but not in the mood. I'm tired and cranky my own self!

So, I'm now contemplating dinner - I have plenty of points, just not sure what I might want that I could get anyone else to agree to.

More later....

Your neighbours are a real piece of work!! I can't even imagine ever thinking of putting dog "business" on my neighbour's doorstep!! I hope your day ended well tonight and that you enjoyed your dinner. What did you end up making? Keep your chin up! You still amaze me with how well you handle all the ups and downs in life. I hope you have a great week!

I can't believe your nieghbors throw dog doo! I'm not proud of this, but my family would go on the attack if that happened to us.

Just hang in there against your weirdo nieghbors.

Yepper, the whole family is strange. They have 2 boys 7th & 10th. The first 2 - 3 years after we moved in, they would walk right into our house,(keep in mind my DS & DD never had anything to do with them) and ask to 'have' some of DS things. I still occasionally find them in my garage or back yard. The lady would be out & I'd try to be friendly and say hello and she would ignore me, turn her back & walk away, but if DH did it, she'd talk for hours. The man has never spoken to us even when we tried, just ignores. Really really bizarre.

Any way..... We had a wonderful night last night....NOT!! DS17, DD & I went to IHOP - only 2.5 points over for the day, so OK. Then went to rent movies. Got home & DS20 assumed we were going to watch movies right then although DS17 had had plans to have 3 friends over to play the game he had bought the night before. This set DS20 off, ranting raving swearing at and about everything. Threatening to pull the circuit breakers if the friends stayed too long, etc. So, DS17 ended up just watching a movie w/ the friends, DD & I went to bed where DS20 kept coming in and complaining until the friends left around 11. What Fun!!

Yesterday I tried for 6 hours to get him up to go look for jobs - so far today it's been 3.5 - and DH doesn't see a thing wrong - says DS20 really DOES want a job. NOT!!!! I'm tired of my days having to revolve around DS20!

Oh well....DS17 works 10 - 5, then has to be bodyguard to the 'COW' at a HS football game (he works at Chick Fil A) until 8:30. Hopefully he has tomorrow off so he can get some serious school done.

DD has fencing tonight, so I will get my walking in then - hopefully at least enough to finish Oct. I told her we would leave early if it would 'inconvenience' DS20 so I didn't have to take him to hang out at friends (I know, I get the bad mother award - like I care!)

Not sure what DD and I will do for dinner - it's 12 already and I'm still full from breakfast (and only 3 pts!)

Food 10/30 -

ww lt em(1)
egg beaters(1)
ff cheese(1)
banana peppers(0)
Brownie bite(2) - sample at Sam's
Taco bell nachos supreme(10)
Dunkin donuts(5.5)

20 oz decaf green tea, 20 oz decaf coffee 68 oz decaf tea

Thanks for the :grouphug: , Tracy! I needed that!
Hope you have a good day with your little ones - whether you celebrate 'halloween' or just have fun!

Today DS17, DD and I are going to ITZ. ITZ a new, absolutely humongous, restaurant, arcade, bowling, indoor amusement ride place. It seems to be a new chain starting up - www. ITZUSA.com . Supposedly has 4 dining rooms, 100+ video games, etc. It is all buffet - pizza, pasta, salad, potato bar, soup bar & dessert bar. and not expensive. So, I figure a weekday is best. Between that and 2 dozen Dunkin Donuts on my counter, I need lots of :wizard: to make it through today. As much as I don't like to skip meals, I'm going to try to skip breakfast since we plan to be there when they open at 11.

DD has fencing at 4 today, so I'm not likely to get much done here at home. I'm already exhausted as DS20 wanted us to watch Rocky Horror Picture Show with him last night and it didn't get over til 12:30, then I waited up for DS17 who got home a little after 1 from watching V for Vendetta at a friends. And of course, I was up at 6:30 with the dogs. Right now I'm ending some auctions, trying to figure out CLUES for TY, and trying not to mess up posting here. I need to take a break soon and run to buy milk to go with those donuts - NOT for me!!

Off to get some stuff done. I'll update later!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN, EVERYONE!!!!
STEP AWAY FROM THE CANDY!!!!!!

Hi Julie,

How did your day go yesterday? That ITZ place sounds like it could be a lot of fun! :jumping1:

Hope you have a great week! :sunny:

P.S. How are your auctions going? I have 3 and 1/2 hours left and no bids! :furious:

Hi Julie, just checking in. You are super busy as usual~ That whole Ty thing is pretty fun, isn't it? It is sucking up WAY TOO MUCH of my time though! :rotfl2: :surfweb:

I've been AWOL again.....Did you notice?????

My food intake hasn't been horrid, but bad choices even if I have been w/in points - way too much chocolate!

Situation with DS20 has been rough this last week since DH was gone for a few days. My stress levels have been soaring! DH just doesn't think we need to do anything or make DS20 do anything. UGH!!!!

Thursday morning I got a call from DNiece#2 in FL who should have been teaching - her husband was hit on his motorcycle on the way to work. She was enroute to the hospital. He is home now. Has a broken bone in his face - eye socket cheek area. almost 100 internal & external stitches on his face, missing a couple teeth, a hole in his side and a bruised lung. He was very lucky! Monday & Tuesday they go to specialists to see if his jaw needs pins. The young teen male driving an F-150 was hurrying to school after having been told his best friend shot & killed himself the night before. But, it was also this kids 3rd accident this year. Had DNiece#2 DH not bailed & tried to lay the bike down before impact, he would have been dead. His gas tank is not more than 3/4" thick anywhere now. Had he been wearing a full helmet and not one of the 'cool' Harley beanie looking things, and padded real cycle gear not a harley nylon outfit, he probably would have walked away.

Tonight DD, her friend & I go to see Phantom! DS17 gave his 'friend' tickets for her birthday & they went on Wed. Said it was awesome. I can't wait!

Then Wed night DH & I go see Blue Man group - his bday present from me.

Monday I take DD to DH for fencing. Tuesday is voting, I take DD to fencing, Wed I have a Dr. appt, then blue man group, Friday starts the North American Cup fencing tourney we are working here - DH works 7a - 8 p Friday, I work 8a - noon, DD competed around 10:30 - 3. Saturday I work 8 - 8, Sunday I work 8 - 8, DH works 7 -8, DD competed at 8 a.m.. My job is basically walking the entire day - sometimes running, taking info between refs, officials, & posting. I'll definitely get some exercise in.

Tons of Ebay to get done as I'm about to wrap it up until sometime in Feb. I still have so much winter to get rid of!

Off to the laundry, it's beeping at me.

Have a great day, all , & a good week this week! Don't forget to vote Tuesday!

Hi Julie,

I am so sorry to hear about your DNephew's accident. :( Thank God that he is still alive! :grouphug: We will be praying for him, your niece, and your family. :grouphug:

How was Phantom last night? I know how much you were looking forward to it. :Pinkbounc

I'm sorry to hear about your DS20 too.... I hope things work out with him soon. :wizard:

Please be sure and take good care of you! :grouphug:

Hi Julie,

I have said this before and I will say it again, I get tired just reading what you are doing. Man you are one busy gal! Although you are busy, you are doing a great job!

So sorry to hear about DNephew....that is horrible. At least he knew what he was doing and laid the bike down, many don't know and that is what kills them. Glad that he is going to be alright.

Keep up the good work!!!

Have a great day :)

Yesterday was really the day that wasn't for me. I left home at 7:30 to go to Sams, then 2 Targets (looking for the XS dog santa suit for pictures), Got back home about 10, had to run DS20 to friends to see about them towing his car (which is in WMart lot - it ran Monday night for a short while). Dropped him ran to 2 groceries, then he called to be picked up (they couldn't tow his car). Back home with him, gave me 30 minutes to unload, take care of groceries, eat lunch & head to the Mid-High so I could get in line to pick DD up. Got DD, drove 45 min to drop her at fencing, ran to another grocery (had to pick up more 6 SB meals at 99c), home to take DS20 back to friends, then finally back home to stay at 6:30 p.m. Made dinner, tried to get a tiny bit of ebay done but was too tired to focus and crashed about 9.

Today took DD to school as the bus keeps leaving earlier and earlier, or doesn't bother to show, helped DS17 put the running bars on the baja, started trying to wake DS20 for a job fair later today, then I need to leave in about an hour for a Dr. appt so I can get my cholesterol med refilled. At some point I need to pull & package Ebay for mailing, list ebay, and DH and I are going to Blue Man Group tonight (what I gave him for his Bday). Does the busyness NEVER end?????

Tomorrow I"ll have to mail since I won't today, have to run by the Dentist to sign for DS17 to go in on his own on Friday, as well as take them paperwork for insurance as our insurance had an OOPS with their system and lost most of the provider info. Then Fri, Sat, Sun I work the North American Cup fencing tourney as the 'runner' which means I'll be on my feet from 8 - 8 all 3 days. I'll definitely put in the minutes I'm behind!! Hopefully Next week I can get a small break!!

Nephew is doing remarkably well after the cycle accident. But, in doing the MRI, they found a 'cyst' in one lung - said it could be from trauma, but they don't know. I think he goes in a couple of weeks to get it checked. Of course my DSis is convinced it's lung cancer and that's why he had the accident so they would find it. Yes, I believe things happen for a reason, but I'm not willing to take it that far!

So,my life is normal, crazy, but what else is new??? Food has been OK, w/in points, just not great choices and way too much sugar/carbs. Hopefully I'll make it to WI tomorrow, but I'm not too hopeful for a loss.

Off and running........

Hi Julie,

Glad to hear that your nephew is feeling better.... We will keep him in our thoughts and prayers. :grouphug:

How are you doing? You are so super busy all of the time. How do you do it? I so admire you for all that you do, Julie. Your family is very blessed to have you in their lives! :goodvibes

I hope you have a great Friday! Please try and do something special for you this weekend.

Hi Julie, so glad your nephew is okay, what a scare. And a lesson to wear a proper helmet! My nephew has a motorcycle and I know sometimes he doesn't wear a helmet, scares me to death. Hope the cyst in his lung turns out to be nothing. Keep us posted. I hope you had fun at Blue Man for dh's birthday! And lastly, good job staying within points. I know points are a two way street of totals and nutrition but staying within given your super busy week is such an accomplishment. Good job! Hope you get some much deserved down time this weekend!

I am so sorry to hear about your nephews motorcycle accident--im glad to hear he is doing better--how scary!!
My dad has a motorcycle and when we are on it, we always wear the big bulky helmets..
I am going out of town for aweek, so i probablywont post until after i get back..hope you have a great weekend/week til i get back!
