Joshua's Wish Trip dates TBA to WWHP and WDW Pre-Trip Report

Yay for dates !!

Was Joshua's wish for Harry Potter .. or was is for Disney ?
Jayden's wish was for Harry Potter 1st and Disney 2nd (we knew it would include both ) but because his main wish was for Harry Potter World on our first day we got a special VIP tour of Harry Potter world including a private stop at Olivanders wand shop ! This was arranged through MAW and took place on our first full day (which caused me to have to change my plans last minute) so I just wanted to give you a heads up !

Josh's 1st wish was for HP, 2nd for Disney and 3rd for Legoland. That would be sooooooo cool if we get a special day at HP - both kids love HP (and so do I)! And I know they're both looking forward to getting wands. Good to know this might happen, because I'm just sitting down to try and sketch out a loose "plan" - which days we want to hit which parks, and which attractions are "musts". I don't know in which order yet, but things we'd like to have happen are:

• The Halloween Party at GKTW - does anyone know if it's held on Halloween night, or if it will still be on Monday? Halloween is Josh's favorite holiday (and Lexi's) so we have to be sure we don't miss it.
• Universal Studios
  
  • WWHP, obviously
  • Jurrasic Park
  • Dr Seuss Island
• WDW
  
  • The kids want to hit Space Mtn, Splash Mtn and Big Thunder Mtn for sure
  • Autographs are high up on the list
  • Fireworks
• EPCOT
• Disney Hollywood Studios
  
  We're thinking half a day here, and half a day at Seaworld

  • Star Tours
  • Lights, Motors, Action
• Animal Kingdom
  
  • Definitely want to do the safari
  • Possibly Expedition Everest

  Both kids are lego crazy! Has anyone been there? Any good tips?​
• The beach - Eric and the kids have never seen the Atlantic ocean, so we're going to try to see it if we can squeeze it in.

Wow - that seems like a lot now that I've typed it out. May have to re-prioritize some things.

We are thinking of trying to hit Lego land too as Trev is obsessed with Legos to put it lightly The beach sounds fun too! I would love to visit a nice sandy beach instead of the cold rocky ones in the Pacific North West! It is so hard to try and figure out what to fit in those 7 days!

Josh is a Gryffindor, of course. He'll be going as a blond Harry Potter for Halloween! lol

Lexi likes the movies, and is into the whole idea of HP, but hasn't read the books yet. We're hoping this trip will change her mind on the books. If I had to guess, I'd say she's a Ravenclaw, just because she likes Ravens and Bats (and anything that's creepy! lol) And she doesn't like to be mainstream, so probably not Gryffindor. Maybe Slytherin though. She's my little goth girl.
