I just wanted to share with everyone....

We were in the most "magical" place on earth August 5th thru the 10th. We have never been to Disney in the summer, but for some reason this year, we did. So after many hours of research and planning... we are happy to say that we used Josh's plan from EasyWDW.com and it worked. We had a daily calendar on which was the most recommended park of the day, etc. We were able to ride the major rides and a couple extra in all parks before 1 pm. That is with parks opening at 9 am. The crowds were not as bad as I thought they could be. We did enter Magic Kingdom on a NOT Recommended park of the day on evening and it was a nightmare. So many people, but we still managed to do a few things and catch the fireworks. We were so happy with plan we used and it was a successful trip. Our hotel was great, the buses were great. We never really had issues with capacity or timing. Looking forward to planning another trip to Disney, we just won't be going in the summer, lol

See what happens when you don't listen to Josh? The first thing I tell WDW newbies is to check out his site. Then when they have specific questions, to come to the Dis and ask.

Josh's info is always the best! I tell everyone going to WDW to follow his advice.

I've never used Josh before. Tell me about him? Does he do crowd predictions? Will I be able to use him for my trip a year from now? Thanks!

Go to his website. He has crowd calendars, goes to each park and tells you about the whole day he spends there. Its awesome and his plan really does work. We were very impressed. I highly recommended him especially if you are going at a busy time.

Josh's site totally rocks!

I especially enjoy reading the blogs (entertaining and funny).

Goofy,
So you didn't have to take advantage of EMH and were you there for rope drop? Thanks for sharing your experience, I am planning on using Josh's crowd calenders for my trip. :cool1:

We are here now & followed Josh's plan. We hit DHS at park opening (they opened early, I think about 8:35 or so??), got pictures with Donald & Daisy on the way in!! Did TSMM fast passes, then rode, then went to RNR & ToT in that order, because ToT wasn't working at first--finally heard the first screams coming from it about 9:20 or so. Got great Photopass+ pictures, went back & walked on TSMM (3 minute wait) with our fastpasses. Then walked onto Star Tours (2 minute wait), then blew some time taking photos & just touring looking at stuff we wanted to. Got great pics with Lightning McQueen & Mater, then went to our ADR at Mama Melrose's at 12:20. FAB. Hubs & big kids went & rode RNR again with FP, little man & I walked onto Star Tours again. Shopped a little & got great pics with the Monsters U topiaries on the way to the car around 2:30. Headed back in a little while for evening stuff. Just came back to the hotel for a break from the heat. GREAT day!!! His plan worked like a charm!

OP, I'm glad that Josh's park recommendations worked out well for you. We've had equally good results using his picks for the last few trips.

Did you also use his cheat sheets once you were inside the parks?

I'm happy to hear this! I've always gone to the morning EMH parks and then hopped around lunchtime. This year I discovered EasyWDW and really want to try out his suggestions, but I've been struggling with giving up those 8am EMH's.

After reading these posts, I think I'm going to throw caution to the wind in October and follow Josh's advice. Wish me luck! This won't be easy for the control-freak in me. :rolleyes1

Lol when I read your title I went right to the site thinking there was finally a new blog entry. I'm in withdrawal! Lol.

Love Josh!

We used his plan/advice for our last trip and LOVED it. Worked like a charm. We were staying off-site, so no EMH.

HS EMH - should we get Toy Story Fast Passes and then ride?

I will check out his site today!!!! We are leaving on the 19th. Maybe I can print stuff and bring it with me?

First time I had ever seen this site and I thought I had seen it all! It is awesome, very user friendly and concise.

THANKS FOR SHARING!!!

Print his cheat sheets per park. They're genius!

I know this is a little off topic but this thread deals with Josh, so I thought I'd post it here.

If you don't read this site (not easyWDW another site) or are on his forums, you haven't seen this article interviewing Josh. It's pretty funny and enjoyable. You can find it on his forums.

OP, glad Josh's advice worked for you!
