Joovy Strollers????

We have tried out the same Joovy stroller to compare to a Maclaren quest at BRU. Our DD4 said she liked the Joovy better. I think you are right, the seat seemed wider for her. The volo is not an option for us because the stroller will primarily be for DS who is 7 months, so it absolutely must recline. But it also must be able to go up 55 lbs because at the end of the day, it will be much easier to carry him than her when they are both tired. Anyway, we were debating about both and then found out about the Zooper Twist in the unofficial stroller thread. We ordered it (untried) from costco online for $119 including shipping. They refund the price and shipping costs at any Costco, so we figure it's an easy way to try out a less expensive stroller without any risks. It also comes with a cupholder, rain cover, and UV screen. We're hoepful that it will be the stroller we need.

Should arrive sometime next week, so I'll be posting my thoughts about it on the stroller thread when it comes in.

Let me know how it is. I really do like the features. Good Luck.:santa:

We actually bought the Joovy Groovy 2 for the purpose of traveling to disney last year and other trips. We love it. Our sons last year were 1 1/2 and 31/2 and now they are 2 (25 lb) and 4 (30 lb) and we will be taking it again for our trip in Feb. They slept in it and I love the the sunshade. It is a very good stroller. I didnt want the sit and stand bc I was concernend about oldest son still needing to take a small nap in the parks then where would he sit. And it worked out best for us bc he did end up napping in it. Disney just wears everyone out!

How do you keep yours closed? The clips just don't work between the canopy....so we're trying to figure out a way to keep it closed when we're getting on and off buses :) Glad you found the stroller a good pick for Disney....it's the one we just purchased for our upcoming trip. The single grooves are much larger (as far as seats go)....but we still like the double.

We have the Joovy Caboose, too and bought it last year at Babies R Us, especially for WDW. It's great...a little heavy when folded (for buses, monorail, etc.), but that can be looked at as a positive I guess, meaning it's well made. We use our big roomy stroller when were at home for the mall and what-not, but for Disney the Joovy is great for our 2 kids (3 and a half & 1 and a half). We put the basket underneath to good use, and hung a backback on the back of it when our older child wanted to walk.

It does roll when folded, well at least ours does. We too have had problems when storing it in the garage when were not using it, because it rolls, but it's not a big deal.

Overall, we like it. We bought the rain cover for it (which we used more days than not last year...for those quick afternoon Flordia showers) and the organizer w/cup holder, perfect for all the park maps, wet-ones, extra napkins, sunscreen, etc. Both were extra, but worth it (IMO). :thumbsup2

Hope this helps! :goodvibes
