Just how big is BIG? Does anyone have this? Do you like it? Does it push easily? Fold easily? Online seems like the only place to find these so it's difficult to know what it is really like.

Any help would be great!!

I bought this for a trip we took in June 09. We got it from walmart.com and we took it back to the store. I felt like it was a boat on wheels. It pushed easy but it was huge. When the kids sat facing each other their feet/legs were in the way of each other. I didn't like the way the handle moved when it shouldn't have. (It shifted apx 1-2" when it shouldn't be when you are pushing it) We ended up with a double wide stroller from Scheel's. We loved it. We only had one problem getting through an entrance. I had a 4 yr old and a 2 yr old.

I didn't know kids could face each other. Do they have to sit that way? Did you have anyone sitting on the jumpseat? Because I would have to have 3 kids on it.

I have a Joovy & my kids were unable to face one another on mine (is there one that they can?).

I bought it in 2006 purposely to use in 2008 (we had a new baby at that time, she is now 3).

I thought it was great to use in the parks. I did pack all 3 kids on it too. My youngest (then 2½), my almost 5 yo ds & my 7½ dd. The older 2 are on the light weight side so it wasn't horrible & it made our lives happier since we didn't have to hear "I'm tired", etc... The only thing the older 2 fought about was who got to sit & who had to stand in the back.

But because of that trip, it sort of killed the stroller. I can't easily push 2 kids on it anymore. If I just have my 3 yo in the front for walks, that is fine. But I am pretty much over the stroller age as she rides her bike when we go for a walk now. If I was going to WDW again I would use it, buy new parts for it so it didn't squelch since she would need it for WDW but for going to the outlets, I make her (them ) walk.

I did buy it at BRU or TRU back then. And yes it did fold easily & push easily before my kids rode around it in WDW-we did use it at the BIG E when we first got it & loved it!

It folded easily for me too.

We haven't owned the Big Caboose but have seen a few in WDW lately.

I totally understand the need for a stroller like this and think the concept is great the execution is something else. They are big, really BIG, I never saw mom's pushing them it was always the dad and he'd looked like it was a wrestle.

I remember one family pushing it loaded with all 3 kids and they were all preschool and under up an incline near America and we weren't sure they'd make it up. The legnth looked like it'd be impossible to turn it in a store.

I don't think pushing would be an issue this trip because my twins are just one and pretty small and I thought it would be nice for my small five yr old to hop on the back when he got tired. I'm just not sure I want to spend the money... They seem to be close to 400.00. :confused3

We met a family with one last year and thought it looked GREAT. I asked them about it and the dad said that while it was nice, it did push like a bus and was very very heavy. He said that he could tell a HUGE difference when his older child would ride in it. He said it folded up really large as well, so we decided against it since it wouldn't fit on buses...etc. Our children were 3+ so I'm sure their weight would change how it pushed.

We decided to take our Joovy Groove 2 and our Joovy Groove. Half way through the week we were just using the Groove and the 2 seater stayed in the hotel room, our older ones walked or switched out in the single stroller.

Theratpack, did he say he couldn't take it on the bus? That would make a huge difference because we definitely need the Disney transportation. We've taken our double jogger before and yes it's a pain but we were never told we couldn't . The thought of bringing two strollers again just doesn't sound like fun to me.

How big is it - as WDW has a size limit on strollers allowed in the parks:

Are there any personal items I should not bring with me into the theme parks?

Items that you may not bring into the theme parks include but are not limited to:

•Items with wheels, such as:
•Wagons
•Skateboards
•Scooters
•Inline skates
•Shoes with built-in wheels
•Two-wheeled or three-wheeled conveyances
Strollers larger than 36" x 52" (92 x 132 cm)
•Suitcases, coolers or backpacks with or without wheels larger than 24" (61 cm) long x 15" (38 cm) wide x 18" (46 cm) high. (Coolers required for medication may be stored in a locker or at Guest Relations.)
•Any trailer-like object that is pushed or towed by an ECV wheelchair or stroller
•Alcoholic beverages
•Weapons of any kind
•Folding chairs
•Glass containers (excluding baby food jars and perfume bottles)
•Pets (unless they are service animals)
In Disney's Animal Kingdom theme Park (for the safety of the wildlife), balloons, straws and drink lids are not permitted

ETA - found the measurments on amazon:

Back Seat and Platform: 2.5 years and up, up to 45 lbs. and 40" tall
Front Seats: 6 months and up, and up to 40 lbs.
Assembled Dimensions: 21.5"W x 55"D x 44.25"H

Sounds like it might be too big?

Yea, he said they had to drive to the parks in their car instead of taking the bus because even if it was folded it was still really really big. I think (not to up on stroller accessories) but I think that you can get a board attachment that will fit on a lot of double strollers for an older child to stand? Might want to check in on that for your trip.

its not a joovy but we ended up with the Peg Pergo from toysrus/babiesrus - I never never wanted a side by side but this fits through a single door and is only 12 pounds....so light and room for "stuff" our tall kids almost 3 year old and 1 year old sleep very well. We took it to DL and WDW last Xmas it worked out great - So I highly recommend it.

Good luck

I HATE HATE HATE the Joovy Big Caboose... Its still in the garage but we haven't touched it in over a year. We ended up with a Valco Tri-Mode Twin and LOOOOOOVVVVEE it!!!! The Joovy is insanely large and a pain in the butt. I couldn't even fit it in my trunk (we have a Toyota Sienna) If I want to put it in my car, I have to fold the back row down BUT we have enough kids that we have to have kids in every seat in our van HAHA.
