I am. :(

I think Kate's heart & intentions were in the right place with this show & I don't think the kids seem to be negatively impacted. I also think the show would have survived with just Kate.

I like Kate. I think both of them probably messed up their marriage equally, but I think she was/is the responsible and smart one of the couple.

JMHO. I think it's sad that the show is over....

I'm glad it's over. I thought that Jon was a pushover who never stood up for himself, and I think that some of the things she said to him would have had people crying foul if it had been a man saying them to a woman. I really don't like her.

For their kids sake, I think it should have ended months ago - when they decided to split up.

I am, and I only just started watching over Memorial Day weekend when I happened to stumble across a J&K+8 marathon and got all sucked in. I don't care at all for the drama, but I'll miss seeing the kids. They're just so darn CUTE!

I am in some ways and not in others.

I am sad not to be able to see those adorable kids anymore but am happy that maybe they will have a shot at something "normal" in the future.

Ditto!

I'll miss it. I was so excited when they said something about a Kate plus 8 show but that was quickly shot down... I would be thrilled if that show was produced in the future.

I hope at the least, they can have annual updates.

I'll miss the old episodes, I stated watching when they first started out on TLC and those episodes were great. Hopefully, TLC will still air those especially since my DVR accidently bumped out the Jon and Kate plus 8 Hit the Road episode, it's one of my favorites.

I will be happy to never see or hear from either of them ever again.

That's what I've been hoping, also, as long as it's not invasive for the kids. I just think it'd be neat to see how they've changed.

I rarely watched, but saw a recent episode where the kids all took a gymnastics class. She couldn't even get out of the gym without the paparazzi following (stalking) them. I think that's sad. Hopefully, with the end of the show, their lives can get to some sort of normal.

I didn't watch them so it is neither here nor there. However I am happy that the kids can begin to get out of the media circus they are living in.

I do wish both of them well and hope they can work things out & act civil to each other for the kids.

In other words media will be waiting for them to screw up or if they want attention they can command it right now.

If things go downhill I don't want to see their faces plastered everywhere because Jon/Kate did not pay a support payment.

weather these children have been negativly impacted idealy will never become public information.

suffice it to say that based on the personal reflections that the
three surviving dionne quintuplets, the only other multiple birth children
ever subjected to such high profile public scrutiny and attention as the gosselin children (though not to the magnitude of the gosselins by virtue of decades of 'advancements' in filming, mass marketing and tabloid 'jounalism') shared back in 1997 in a caution letter to the mccaughey family:

"...multiple births should not be confused with entertainment, nor should they be an opportunity to sell products...",

"...our lives have been ruined by the exploitation we suffered...",

"...we were displayed as a curiosity...",

these children's lives have been affected, and in all likelyhood not for the good.

I'm glad it's ending. I loved the show in the beginning, but it has run its course at this point. Even though Kate says it's all real, I don't think it has been real for a while now. I hope now that the kids can have a "normal" life and that their parents will at least be civil to one another. It's a shame that money and fame took over what once seemed to be a happy family. It's very clear that Kate is not ready for this to end because she doesn't want to lose her place in the limelight.

I think those two "parents" (and I use the term loosley) should be ashamed of themselves for exloiting their children the way they did.

I'm sad it ever started. To me the whole thing was a train wreck.

Yes, definitely. I think Kate not allowing the cameras in their bedrooms was a great step toward not being invasive so it would be entirely possible.

I never cared for the show, so I'm not sad to see it end. I do hope they put some money aside. It isn't going to be cheap to raise those kids and put them through college. The gravy train has ended.

Me too!

Take this with a grain of salt: I read Kate may "get around" John's insistence that the children not be filmed/TLC not be allowed on "his" property, by securing another residence in just her name.

Agree!!!!

Those kids are in for years of couch time!

I'm glad for them it's ending, its definately what's best now. My kids have kind of "grown up" with the Gosselin family and they will be the ones who miss seeing them. I truly hope they can settle into a little bit of normalcy in their lives eventually. (The kids).
