Jon & Kate huge numbers HOW???

How could people what that show?? They clearly are a family in crisis and probably should break up and do years of therapy (and the kids also). He is cheating and she is cheating. So all the stuff on TV is clearly made up. He seems in interviews to be pretty hostile about the whole J & K + 8 thing. I mean they are using the show to pay for their families lifestyle. Isn't the show how they pay for the multimilion dollar home? The kids are a commodity. I just don't get why people would watch. Next week the Octomom will visit.

Actually, I loved the chutzpah of these people complaining about being celebrities and having people showing an interest in their lives! Hilarious. They literally pimp out their kids for a national tv audience and then have the gall to get upset about it? Lewis Carroll would be amazed with the spectacle....

Really, does this family need any more picking apart? I think people should just get over it already. Especially the ones who believe everything thats reported or written about them. Can't believe everything you hear! There are only 2 people who know the truth, Jon and Kate.

People just can't not stop and watch the train wreck. I think the whole thing is sad!! They chose to bring all of those kids in to the world and they should be the top priority. It seems like both parents have let it all go to there heads, in one way or another.

If you've never watched the show, then you really can't know all about it. You know what you've seen on morning shows showing 2 minute clips...... I've watched Grey's Anatomy, but that doesn't mean I should cut into someone...

I don't care for reality-type shows, so I don't watch. My sister, however, loves the show. She enjoys watching those kids so much that it makes her happy.

It's not up to you whether they break up or not... and it's not up to you to tell others what they should watch.

I don't believe for one second that their kids are a "commodity".

It's pretty obvious why they have a bump in the numbers...

They've gotten a ZILLION dollars worth of free publicity in the past two weeks.

Face it, there are lots of people who will watch two people raising 8 kids (NOT ME!!!) but there a MILLIONS of people willing to watch a man who was caught cheating and what happens NEXT. It's a ploy that worked WONDERS.

They were on the morning shows, on the grocery store check out mags, people who have no idea who they or TLC were are now talking about them at the "so-called" watercooler.

Heck, even YOU started a thread about them. Would you have done that two weeks ago????

Well, I'm for anyone milking the system for what it's worth. These people are a train wreck people CHOSE to give their attention to. why? I have NO idea. The last time I wanted to hear a toddler whine was because I gave birth to it. I wouldn't turn on a TV to hear one for anything in the world!

I've watched probably 2 or 3 episodes last year, and I know all about the JK8 drama as well. How can you avoid it? It's all over the internet, news, Disboards

I guess I"m one of those people who will watch. I have been a fan of the show for a while now and I've seen practicallly every episode.

I'm not watching to see a train wreck. Truth be told last night's episode was depressing IMHO.

This is true, all the hate and venom that has been spewed is what made me tune in and watch so much of the marathon. I would see the episodes in question and be like "that's it?"

This is the exact reason I watched. I missed it last night because my tivo didn't record it and was panicked I wouldn't get to see the episode. I had watched some of the marathon this weekend. Previous to that I had only seen maybr 4 shows while my DH watched. The reason I tuned in was to see what happens and because the dis was talking abput it so much. I had to search all over on my Direct tv to even find the station. I am sure I am not the only ond drawn into this and I don't feel guilty.
