Funny you said she sounded immature -- the other reviews on this thread said that she talked better than Kate or Jon.

On the one hand, Hailey knew Kate a lot better than she knew Jon before May. But on the other hand, ITA with you that she needs to keep her mouth shut (try Jon's famous answer "you'll have to ask Kate", which was working for him up until last week).



JMHO, but I tend not to believe what anybody says about their soon-to-be-ex spouse when they're in the middle of a divorce (so yes, I believe Jon went to counselling, but his claims re Kate refusing to go, not so much)
Also, the Ed Hardy clothes might be considered trashy where you are but they're very popular here. But I would never see anyone wearing them from head to toe (kinda like wearing a leather jacket with leather pants )

Immature might have been the wrong word but I don't think she talked better then Kate or Jon.

And I completely agree with the bolded part. I think there will be lies thrown from both sides now.

Youknow I just remembered something. During a couch interview a while back..J&K discussed getting a dog when and if they ever had their own land.

Jon was all for it and was adamant they would get a big dog...Kate didn't want a dog at all...but said she might possibly get a small dog.

Well as we all know..they got their land and got not ONE but TWO BIG dogs!!

This tells me that Kate was indeed trying to keep Jon happy at that time. So maybe the house with "land" was to keep him happy to.
The more I think about it..I think it was Jon checking out of this marriage and Kate trying to make it work. I don't think it was kate who told Jon it was over..I think it was the other way around. Its obvious how much he has changed.

If kate really had told Jon it was over ages ago..(as Kevin and Jodi said)...then I think she would no way on earth take on two big dogs for him.

she would if TLC suggested/told her that she had to, though. that could (I'm not saying that it is) be a factor with the dogs.

We are packing the car right now to take DD18 off to UT....GO LONGHORNS! So it will be a day or so until I have time to catch up...so slow it down a bit!!

Hey guys and gals... Havent been on the DIS for a while so I thought I'd check in. I work at a convenience store in Wernersville and Jon comes in on a regular basis so I thought I'd check out the latest gossip on here. I'm shocked at how many people come in and ask me where they live...people drive hours to try and get a look at their house....its kinda funny, for the longest time I didnt even know it was him coming in the store (wouldnt have known him if I fell over him). We dont watch much tv and I've never seen the show so I didnt know who I was looking at till he was at the atm one day and some lady goes, "thats him!" and I was like, "thats who?" just seems like a normal guy.

No, Kate doesn't have a bedmate (that we know of) she talks to that can confirm her stories

I find the blurring of the Ed Hardy t-shirts very distracting. Couldn't they have just stopped him from wearing the shirts in the future episodes? Or maybe demanded advertising money once Jon was in negotiations with the Ed Hardy people? Funny, but I think TLC made the t-shirts MORE noticeable by doing this

I actually watched this last night. Don't know why but I did.

I was amused by how immature she sounded when she talked. She definitely doesn't have a PR person!!! She's only 22 years old. I'm 6 years older then she is but I remember being 22 and having a man with 8 kids wasn't exactly my idea of a good time. I'll be VERY suprised if this lasts for sure.

She did comment on Kate "playing the sympathy card". I didn't like that. I dont think she should say ANYTHING about Kate. Kate is the mother of Jon's children and she should be VERY careful as to what she says about her in the media. Of course what she said wasn't that bad it could have been worse but I still dont think she should say anything about her, especially if she actually expects to be the step mommy someday.

No kidding. Seriously, we're all supposed to believe that this wild child has suddenly matured and is interested in a man 11 years older than her? A man with 8 kids under 10 years old? I don't buy it. I also love how she described them getting together...he was sad and bored and she was home and bored. What to do? Hook up of course!

I completely agree that is beyond tacky for her to mention anything to do with Kate. Really really poor taste if you ask me. Kate is Jon's soon to be ex and mother of his kids. What could she possibly know about any of that, she's only 22!

Let's do predictions...I predict Hailey will be with Jon for 22 weeks. That's 1 week for every year old that she is!

I don't think Hailey confirming Jon's story makes it anyone more valid. She's his girlfriend and I assume any information she does know about Kate and Jon's marriage came from Jon. Just my opinion but I think the purpose of Hailey's interview was to be Jon's mouth piece. Since TLC stopped him from giving his interview, he gave it through Hailey.

I'm one that said Hailey spoke "better" than J&K but mentioned in the sense of not using "umm" all the time. You can certainly tell she's not quite mature - if you just listened (like were in the other room) JMHO.

Hailey's said several times she doesn't/didn't know Kate or Jon until Jon was living with her parents - that's when this all began.

No I agree - I was just happy that she didn't use all the "umms" that J&K use (at least that I noticed! I think she was able to speak more "freely" because she really doesn't have anything to "worry" about (no tv show, kids, custody battle, ect).

I don't give Hailey much weight...I'm sure she's only getting Jon's side of everything.

Huh - so I'm just curious! (and nosey I guess) What's it like there right now? Is everything really overrun with paps or are they only there certain times of the day or not so much??


I'm also still mystified about the whole pap/picture thing. How come no one can track down Kate or Hailey unless they're at the kid's house or Hailey's with Jon?? Do the paps/mags not care about anything unless it happens at the house (we know that's not 100% true as they followed Kate on vacation). I think something's not right about this and it seems like things have really dropped off since the last police call (unless I've missed some stuff - which is totally possible!).

A woman pregnant with 12 babies is being talked about in several periodicals after the news broke. The woman who is allegedly pregnant with 12 babies is said to be a teacher in her 30s and living in Tunisia. The woman hasn't been named at this time, putting a shroud of mystery around the story. This mystery is also leading some people to not believe in the validity of the story, and it will be interesting to see how this one plays out in the end. The story is stated that the woman is pregnant with 12 babies, split evenly to expect both six boys and six girls.

I never really watched "Jon & Kate Plus Eight" as a TV show, but like so many Americans, I've followed Jon and Kate Gosselin's divorce drama on entertainment "news" shows, in magazines, and all over the Internet. Like a crying child in a theater, it's nearly impossible to ignore.
As the new season of this kvetch-fest unfolds -- with the couple making news last week when Kate Gosselin called the police, claiming Jon refused to let her on their property -- I'm watching in particular to see what happens to Jon, especially in light of the resonant statement he made right after their separation announcement:

"People think I've changed, and I have changed... I'm now the person I know I am."

Having been a divorced dad myself, I know what it means to suddenly "be the person you are." To me it means being free from the sometimes dominating expectations of spouses, parents, even television. To redefine your life in your own new terms, and realize the responsibility that comes with it.

It's a true shock to the system, because, by and large, American dads are programmed to fit pre-defined roles. We're cast as failures, but expected to be consistently strong.

We're stereotyped as cool and disinterested, but expected to sacrifice everything for the sake of our children, as if our lives end when theirs begin. We're told to bury anxiety, vulnerability, and depression so deep that we're not even aware of it ourselves.

This stress was written all over Jon's face in every one of his staged-for-the-show interviews. He looked not just brow-beaten, but lost, as if someone had stolen his very essence and was holding it for ransom. Some fans decried his treatment by Kate; others just told him to "man up."

Jon now says he's rediscovering himself, and I believe him (though he should knock off the adolescent antics). I just hope he also discovers his true dadhood in the process. That means -- for perhaps the first time, especially with a wife like Kate -- making his own independent decisions about discipline, rituals, rules, definitions, expectations, and exceptions.

It's a big job, but also a thrilling one, and vital for ensuring a strong connection with his kids. While divorce is unfortunate and a wrecking ball in so many ways, it's also a chance for Jon to become the best, most genuine, and most fulfilled dad he's ever been. Even if you hate Jon, that would be a gift to his children.

Note to Jon: It'll take some time, buddy. You'll make mistakes (and you're becoming something of an expert there). But the children will recognize and respond to your honesty. All you have to do is, as you might put it, be the father you know you are. The rest will take care of itself.

While they were on the USS North Carolina Kate was rambling about some fact about something and mentioned she knew that because of the USS Alabama. So that's why they were wondering when she was on the USS Alabama.

Maybe she visted the USS Alabama as a kid. I visited the USS North Carolina when I was younger. Maybe she remembered things from that visit?
Or, she probably did some research before taking them as she looked for some educational outtings for them. Maybe she read up on the ships beforehand.

I watched it awhile ago and enjoyed the NC scenes.

The scenes with Jon were not as fun to watch as I did not like seeing Mady so sad looking. She usually enjoys outtings with dad more, doesn't she? Maybe Cara takes over and Maddy takes a backseat to her or something.

The blurring does bother me but if we didn't know they were Ed Hardy logos, we would not know that info. So TLC's mission is accomplished, I guess. If my mom was to watch, she'd have no idea why the blur. She'd probably think it said something vulgar or something.

It doesn't confirm anything for me either.

She's his girlfriend and she's "in love".... of course she is going to believe everything Jon has told her. As will his family and his friends. Same for Kate. That's just how it goes.

Jon is really friendly with the paparazzi....which I find wierd. She may have mistaken his being "friendly", he may have had a one night stand or she is nuts

If he did say he was going to marry her then he is nuts or a player.

I agree the Hailey spoke for Jon since he wasn't allowed to do his interview. But Kevin and Jodi had the same info about the timeline and Jon is not too fond of them.
