She smiles and laughs a lot on the show. If she smiled when the paparazzi was taking pictures, some would say, look she loves it, she's smiling for them LOL!! She must be reading here, and she knows she better not smile

Yes Madge, but all the dates were listed and many complained she had every day filled so she couldn't have gotten home to see the kids. I thought they looked pretty much like they always did, but then I never studied them before LOL.

I agree.

I think they look, um, enhanced .. but there's no way I can figure out when she would have had time to make any changes!

PS. I was joking, which is why I had the winker there on my post. LOLOL.

When I posted earlier today that your post regarding the math to calcualte the hours filmed to create an hour show was silly here again it is just silly. There is no way 2-3 hours a day 2-3 days a week to get an hour show, impossible.

The shows are a half hour usually, not an hour, aren't they? I have no idea how long it really takes to shoot. I just said what Kate said, and I have no info to tell me otherwise. If it's a little longer, then it is. I've read several places they are all set up in the house, they have a small place for the crew in between takes, and the shooting is 2-3 days. The Duggers have a lot more family to cover so they may take longer.
I don't know for sure, Kate may be lying. But in any case, it wasn't silly, unless you have proof it's a lot more hours.
In my opinion, they can do a half hours show, just from what I have read, on an ongoing series in 6-9 hours. If lines need to be learned and are flubbed, etc, I've read it could take a lot longer.

Did anyone catch Matt Lauer this morning? He brought in a psycologist and someone else, to discuss the TLC show Jon and Kate Plus Eight. You can vote if you feel the show should continue or end. You can watch the video on the Today show.
Wasn't Kate on the Today show a few weeks ago? She was interviewed about her book, but before they started, Meredit addressed the elephant in the room. To bad Matt didn't interview her, he would of never hand patted her and asked about the elephant in the room, but then again, he isn't without some scandal in his marriage.

If you look at a papparazzi shot of any celebrity, typically they are not smiling. And don't we all smile when we know the camera is on us? It's like Pavlov's dogs...we are conditioned to smile as soon as the camera comes out...I know I do and can't help it.

I know that paps like to generally publish the worst shots. So it would make sense to release the ones of Kate making all the funny faces, and that would give all of us something else to debate over!

I am also a person who tends to think perfect bodies belong in bikinis and in strapless dresses too, but that's a whole other story! LOL

But I will tell you, Kate Gosselin looks amazing in that bathing suit IMHO. She's not a perfect body but she looks better in that suit than 99% of the people you see on the beach in a bikini. Honestly, picking apart someone's stomach after then carrying 8 kids (6 at once), having a tummy tuck and being a mom, not a bathing suit model, model, or actress in the past is just too much to me.
Kate isn't going to have a body like Posh Spice or even Christie Brinkley (an old mom ). She looks good and while she might look better in a tankini, she can certainly hold her head high and proud in that bikini!

The reality show that you talked about is set up differently than Jon and Kate.

Really, they were fiming a family interacting with eachother and their pet. The training of the pet took place off site. This was filming of walking up and down the street, in the back yard, sitting and talking not different at all. Except this family is wonderful and they all love each other. No crew members had to leave because they were morally disturbed by this family

I'm many pages behind, so I'm not sure if it's been mentioned ... but I had a couple of tweets from Us Weekly while I was out today, they're talking about Jon having that teacher friend with him in Utah when he was away on Kate's birthday.

Jon took the teacher WITH him to Utah?! The film crew was there?! And, Kate knows about this?!

I caught the end of Prime News tonight on Headline News and the quote on tv was "Octomom says Kate "has issues"". I guess these two (Kate and Ocotmom) are going back and forth in the tabloids???? What's the scoop???

To the pantheon of epoch-defining debates — Lincoln vs. Douglas, William Jennings Bryan vs. Clarence Darrow — we can now add: Octomom vs. Kate.

Yes, Kate Gosselin, star of the reality show "Jon & Kate Plus 8," and Nadya "Octomom" Suleman, who apparently is about to get a reality show of her own, have delightfully begun sniping at one another.

Gosselin fired the first shot back in February in an interview with Dr. Phil, during which she questioned Suleman's ability to raise 14 children on her own, including the eight she had in January. Gosselin noted she often grew exhausted raising her eight children, despite having what she said was strong support from her husband Jon (insert skeptical snort here, if you wish).

In a video posted on Radaronline.com Tuesday, Suleman sneered that Kate Gosselin should stop judging her and deal with her own faltering marriage.

"It's done. I've moved past my 'mistake,'" saidSuleman, framing the word "mistake" with finger quote marks. "She has her own obvious issues, internal issues, and she needs to stop partially making judgments towards me. She doesn't even know me. ... That's human nature. Tends to happen to people who are less educated. I surround myself internally and externally with positive energy. She does the opposite."

"Kate's certainly not going to react to that," said Laurie Goldberg, a spokeswoman for TLC, the cable TV network that airs "Jon & Kate." "The octomom can say whatever she wants."

Octuplet mother Nadya Suleman slams Kate Gosselin in a new video posted on RadarOnline.com.

"She needs to stop being so judgmental and stop pulling at straws for attention," a visibly annoyed Suleman says after watching an interview Gosselin gave on The Dr. Phil Show last February.

Suleman rolls her eyes while accusing Gosselin of being "desperate for attention" and "over-emotional.

"My children are extremely healthy, strong and happy. Don't you have, like, a lot of issues in your life? A lot of marital problems?" she sneers. Us Weekly has reported Jon Gosselin had an affair with a 23-year-old teacher. He was also nervous about Kate's "inseparable" relationship with her bodyguard.

"Why are you so desperate to glob on to my life? For attention?" continues Suleman, who plans to shoot a reality show documenting life with her 14 kids.

I didn't say that, exactly ... I said Jon had the teacher friend with him. I think the reports I read said that she met him out there.

If we go by what Kevin and Jodi said, then there was an agreement and it would have been ok with Kate for Jon to be gone during her birthday with another woman.

Now I am not sure I believe Jodi but Keven I still wonder about. I think he is telling the truth. So if he is then so what if Jon was gone with another women during her birthday, she was fine with it, it was her idea for it to be ok for him to see other women.
