thats what i was thinking Looked like one to me... i googled the tattoo on kate gosselins butt and only came up with the winnie the pooh tattoo.

I don't think it looks like her at all, and not that we'd know for sure, but I thought she has said she only has one tattoo, on her ankleish area. Another thing, is that that lady doesn't look tan really at all. I can't imagine Kate going on a boat in a bikini and not being tan these days. I also can't imagine her being in France, and none of us had heard anything, let alone about a yacht. I'm going to venture to say it's not Kate.

Isn't the 'going rate' for everyone and not just those who make millions? My kids don't have a million each now and probably never will. Are they doomed to poverty?

I didn't say that at all. I was simply trying to show how quickly a million dollars could "disappear". My kids certainly don't have millions waiting for them and I'm sure they'll be fine. I think the Gosselin kids are also different than mine in the sense that we've got very different definitions of "normal" and what we "need" in our daily lives. It will be interesting to see how they all grow up that's for sure. I came from a house where bills weren't paid, home was forclosed on, no vacations, ect and I think I turned out ok if I do say so myself. Money isn't everything to everyone that's for sure (thankfully!).

I had posted this a while back my neighbor was on "It's me or the Dog" last fall. It was so much fun watching the entire process of filming. I was prancing my own dogs out front wanting to kind of show off how good mine were, Anyway, they filmed from 8 in the am till 10pm, 7 days straight to get the footage for a one hoour show, they had come out a few weeks before and after to do follow up and intro. stuff. Just watching that was very insightful to see how much work there is doing one hour of reality tv. They had to shoot reshoot, differnet angles. I can certainly see how there not being laws to dictate how many hours can be shot need to be adressed. Funny though how are they conducting an investigation into breaking laws when there are no laws on the books for reality tv, just for professional child actors, hmmm?

I posted pictures on the last thread about the Food Network coming to my office and filming for a pilot show they were working on. It was amazing to me the amount of people and equipment needed and the amount of time spent filiming to wind up with 10-12 minutes in the end. They shot ALL DAY at my office then were going to another local location for the "opening" and interviews about the food. I'll let you know if it ever shows up on tv.

Ok, as others have asked...please slow down. I've got dinner to make and my boys just heard the wonderful sound of the ice cream truck! So much for dinner I guess! (Is it bad that I'd just feed them ice cream for dinner if friends weren't coming over?)

Question: Everything I've read (that I can recall) it saying the they (the PA child labor people) received a written complaint. What's the process for filing a complaint does anyone know? I'm curious because I'm thinking if it were an easy process the they'd have gotten many by this time. Maybe it's a long and involved one or there's something to back this one up??? Something's just got me stuck on the investigating the complaint stuff that's surfaced....I just can't figure out what it is.

I thought that too, I wonder. If it is done out of spite for mundane things there should be some accountability on the peron/persons making the complaint.

I felt so sorry for the people that sold that house to Jon and Kate, she went on and on about how filthy it was.

I actually read something about this recently. I guess the people they bought the house from were a doctor and his wife -- it was a doctor who at one time worked at the same facility Kate did. The article said that the wife was extremely embarrassed about the way Kate was going on and on about how filthy the place was when they left. (Didn't she say she scrubbed the refrigerator for an entire day?)

Anyway, the wife sent Jon & Kate a letter explaining that they had hired a professional cleaning crew to clean the place when they moved out, and sent them a receipt to prove it.

In reply, they received a check for the amount that they paid the cleaning crew from TLC, but never heard anything from Jon & Kate. Not quite sure why TLC would send them a check -- maybe as an apology or an amends? But they were ticked not to get some kind of an apology from Kate.

I'll see if I can find a link....it was in a local Pennsylvania newspaper.

And spies at the mall tell us Jon and the two girls dropped in on Louis Vuitton, Cole Haan and Godiva. As one dude put it, Jon was decked out in cheesy Ed Hardy duds.

And now we're told the two women who accompanied Jon were the two chicks with whom he spent Memorial Day. We got this pic of the trio at Front Street Bar and Grill in Newburgh, NY.

From the looks of it, Jon was spending on Jon but not Kate Plus 8.

I remember that episode and cringed every time Kate complained about how dirty the new house was. It was really embarrassing and I thought those poor people who sold it to them must be mortified! Remember her cleaning the garage area where the old freezer was? She kept saying I bet that hasn't been cleaned in 10 years! Then the refrigerator...that was bad. I thought to myself does she realize she's being filmed??

I was just thinking about that episode and the freezer. It really wasn't all that dirty under there, and to be honest, I would have EXPECTED there to be dirt under there. As a matter of fact, I would have expected there to be cleaning to do before I moved in any house.

Our house was brand spankin' new when we moved in, but guess what? I had to clean it before I moved in! I just think Kate likes to complain sometimes. She probably doesn't even realize she's doing it half the time, it comes so naturally to her.

This further implies that they "have a lot of money" as discussed in earlier posts. Or at least they are living like they do. How many of us can just go to the mall and drop two grand? But, then again, that's assuming this is all true.

I usually read through a few of these pages every once in a while. I have never posted on this thread before but there is something I have to know. I just finished last week episode with the birthday party. I watched Jon and Kate be interviewed apart and at the end they were together and I must ask (sorry if this was discussed before). What was up with Jon during the first pert of the interview? He was red faced, puffy, slurring and extremely angry. I have to assume he was drunk (he reminded me of my ex and actually looked like his twin right there...which is why he is my ex). When he was being interviewed with Kate he looked normal again. Obviously a different time and/or day. What was up with that???

I watched that episode several times, since TLC showed it like every other hour! I didn't really notice that Jon was slurring, though several other posters noticed the same thing.

I just assumed that he was really out of it, meaning not interested in doing the interview, and he seemed angry and sad at the same time. And he also seemed tired of explaining himself, too, tired of the whole situation in general, probably tired of having a camera in his face 24/7.

I'm sure this has been hard on him and Kate both, regardless of what either of them have done. Boy I'd sure like to know the REAL truth, though.

During the last part of the interview when they were together, I think it was a different day b/c they were each wearing different clothes.

I think that since my experience with my ex I can really pick up on a person when they were drinking or when they were just mad. He was so angry he couldn't finish one thought before he jumped on to the next one.
