I am thinking that's not true. For one, "Benny Temberton" is not the executive producer of J&K+8 (Bill Hayes is). It sounds like a sarcastic parody.

The fact that it isn't true and is a pile of nonsense won't matter to some...they WANT to believe it....

Wow, if this were true!? Way to work around the child labor laws and still get to keep your TV show. Do they really think ANYONE would want to watch a show about J&K?

I really think people would tune in. I might would even tune in a couple of times to see what was going on. Shameful of me, I know. I just can't help myself!!!

The smaller kids definitely don't seem to mind being on camera. I'm sure they're so used to it, they just think its a way of life. I could just see a little kid asking Kate, "Doesn't EVERYONE have cameras following them around, Mommy?". And then Kate will respond "I don't know why everyone thinks we're so interesting, honey. Why don't they follow someone else around?"

But I have noticed a lot less of Mady and Cara lately. Wonder why???

It seemed on the show last Monday Mady and Cara were both shown quite a bit. It was the little kids birthday so that might have been while they were shown more.

I think they get a say the kids love the camera They are always happy ans smiling. If you have seem some of the little kids beauty pagents kids you can tell unhappy kids who don't want to be on camera. They cry and throw fits.

the show is edited ... we only see happy and smiling children, because that's what TLC wants us to see .. we have no way to know if they're like that all the time.

same with the pageants .. crying beauty princesses are far more dramatic than happy ones. those shows are usually featuring the train wreck aspect of pageants.

That's insane! Who would "want" that to be true? No one wants Jon & Kate to lose their kids (at least not that I've seen here on the DIS) - and many of us still wish there were a way for Jon & Kate to work things out and mend their marriage.. Just pull the plug on the show and do it in private - not send the kids off to boarding school so they can be even more confused than they are now..

That's ridiculous..

that was my initial reaction. and a google search on the name comes up empty. other than the absurdity of it all, there's nothing to suggest it isn't legit... which explains why other news sources are picking it up.

This may be TLC's way to get the investigation of the Labor Law violation stopped. Hey the kids don't live here anymore all the footage of them is from when they were home for the holiday, yeah that's the ticket.

A thought just occurred to me based on a PP's post about Mady's fits. You know, we haven't seen so many of those lately, come to think of it. They kind of showed past Mady at the Globetrotters game, but you could really tell that she seemed upset about not getting a signed ball or picked to go out like Cara. The camera kind of zoomed past Mady, but I was paying attention on the marathon Saturday to see her reaction.

Kate said that she and Jon have a hand in what gets edited out. Perhaps they have asked TLC not to focus so much on Mady's temper????

it's weird, "jon & kate unleashed" shows up under news results on Google, but none of them appear to be actual news sources. it's more blogs and message boards than anything else.

I'm with everyone else in thinking it's a hoax or satire. It can't be true.

On that we can agree.. They love those kids - and although they don't always make the best decisions - all of which have been hashed out here - I can't imagine them ever, ever sending them "away".. Good grief - they would need a hundred body guards - especially if there are people out there who truly "hate" them!

There is no way this is true. As I was reading it I just kept seeing the desperate housewives. They say everything they do is for their kids and this would not be for their kids. I think someone is just messing with everyone.
