I love some of the items in her home like the Laundry sorter and the Trash can she has. Any ideas on where to find them?

I don't recall the items you mentioned but I know they got a bunch of stuff from Ikea when they were on their home organization kick! I'll have to keep my eyes open next time we watch. If only I could be as organized as her - I know people think she's very high strung, but it really is less stressful to BE organized than UNorganized.

I'm not sure if Costco Wholesale is carrying them any more but I bought a touch free stainless steel can like this one here for about $40 and it's been working really well for us. It's not the same one that the Gosselins have though. I didn't see the laundry sorter so can't comment on that.

I love the "Plan Ahea" sign on the table. Makes me chuckle every time I see it.

I loved the way they had the high chair seats in the table. A long table with a cut out for each seat.

Their current high chairs are nice too....the kids get in them on their own!!! I need those LOL My biceps hurt from lifting ours up in their high chair at every meal.

I noticed while on their website that they have a link for lots of things they use and I saw the place where she gets their plates with their names on them. I cant remember the name, but on the main page is a link for businnesses they like. Click on that and it is one of them. The plates were $24 (wow!!), but Im sure Jon and Kate got theirs for free since they are promoting them.

this is so true, my house is definitely in need of organization.
I am trying to go by something i heard

my problem is i don't have a place for everything.........LOL.......i need better storage solutions.

I love watching this show, especially when they went to WDW. I am jealous because I am sure they got a lot of extras since they were televising it. CAn you say green eyed monster . They are so refreshingly honest about the fact that they are far from perfect especially when things get crazy. Kate is pretty OCD about things, but with 8 kids, 6 of whom are 3, who can blame her. I would never survive as I am way to unorganized. I am truly shocked by how generally well behaved these kids are. I also get a kick out of watching the sextuplets pass the blame, the girls always blame the boys and the boys point the finger at each other, it's a hoot .

I am not sure what you are talking about either, but I would think you could find a laundry sorter just about anywhere. Get a basic one and then just personalize each bag the way you want on your own. As for the garbage can I can't say I have really payed attention to that either.

Sigh, anytime I am stressed from being the single mom of a three year old, I watch Jon and Kate plus 8 and thank GOD I only have one.

LOL ... it's my daughters favorite tv show. She knows all of their names, and keeps asking me when I am going to have twins like Cara and Maddy come out of my belly.

One word ... never.

I watch the show every week. We have 6 kids under 10, but no multiples so I can relate in some ways to the chaos of a big family. I found this week's episode really interesting when they showed the behind the scenes stuff with some new clips. I especially loved one clip of Jon getting the sextuplets shoes on and one of the boys was trying to get his on first and Jon said "I told you, the girls are always before the boys." I don't know why that just struck me as so sweet. Those boys will grow up to be amazing husbands!

It gives me a little boost. I feel like if she can keep the house clean w/ 8 I should be able to with one. I think her personality is how a real mom feels every single day.

We have a touchless garbage can too. We got ours at Sam's Club about 2 years ago for around $40.00 ( I think). I looked at the plates too, but I can't afford $24.00 a plate. My own plates don't even cost that much. lol
