Hello All,

We are booking a quick trip to go to Jollywood 12/16, staying on-site one night. Debating paying $50 more per night for Pop over All Star Music or Sports. Question is what transportation will be available when the party ends? Will the skyliner be operating? That would be the only reason I would book Pop over ASMu or Sports. TIA!

When HS has After Hours events the skyliner continues to run, usually about 1 hour after the official close. To be on the safe side I’d recommend not pushing it more than 30 minutes after closing.

For big events like JN transportation is available. It’s the smaller events that sometimes do not and they usually say that in the ‘know before you go’ section. I can’t confirm for sure but I 99.5% expect skyliner to be running.

Thank you so much for the information. Now to decide if it is really worth it to me LOL! :)

Us too and same night! We haven’t bought tickets yet.

Last weekend the family talked about it and we decided to go. The final deciding factor came down to WDW events like this usually start out with their best foot forward. And later in the season I’d expect any big wrinkles to be ironed out.

Maybe we’ll see you Dec 16th!

Awesome! How ironic! Maybe we will see you there! We have a 6 night trip planned for May 2024, for DD's college graduation. We debated on whether or not to pull the trigger for the party, but, hey, you only live once! Fingers crossed the party is a success! :-)

FYI, I went to Jollywood nights last night and stayed at Riviera. The skyliner was not running and there were signs saying that it would close at 9:30 pm. It was no problem getting a bus back to the resort though.

Did you happen to notice if the boats were running to boardwalk area resorts? Not sure if that would follow the same rules as Skyliner :/

Sorry, I did not notice if the boats were running. The bus transportation was easy though...plenty of buses ready to do pick ups and drop offs.

Only busses are running for Jollywood nights. The Skyliner is not operating after normal DHS hours.

For $50 per night I would just splurge on an Uber that will take you right up to your building at the end of the night. It will be cheaper and less walking than the Skyliner.

Minnie Vans can take you directly to your building. Uber/Lyft must drop you off at the lobby, which can be quite far if you’re staying at CSR, SSR, OKW, values, etc.

I've had them drop me off at my building at Caribbean Beach. I'm not sure of the official rules, but Minnie Vans will always drop you at your building.

Official rule (per MV driver) is only MVs can bypass the lobby. I guess you got a rebel!
Haha I think it was due to the odd location of the CB entrance during Riviera construction. You had to drive right by my room to get to the lobby anyway, so I just told the driver where to let me out.

There is nobody stopping you once you get past the guard shack. Unless some bellman is laying in the ground there is no way to police that.

It’s in the rules for Uber/Lyft. Just like there’s not really anyone stopping the Ubers from driving past the bus stop corral set aside for them at HS and dropping you off closer to the park. Or having one driving you to DS and dropping you off in the Orange Garage instead of the Uber/Lyft stop. If you’re able to find the Uber rules for Disney, it details where they’re allowed to go on property. Not saying an Uber won’t pass the lobby and drop you off, it’s just not what they’re supposed to do.
