JoJO Birthday Party

Okay we have decided to do a JOJO themed birthday party. I need some budget ideas for decorating, food and games for the kids. ages of the kids will be 3 boys 2 that are 1 and a half and one 4. girls DD 3 and the rest 3, 2 5yrs one 7yrs

I did one of these last year. I went to the party supply rental store and bought popcorn boxes. (they rent the popcorn machine and sell the boxes) I used the boxes as the container for party favors instead of a goody bag. I also bought prepopped bags of popcorn, the huge ones and filled the boxes and set them on the tables for people to eat. It was summer so we had hot dogs and hamburgers. I had bought some bags of those nasty tasting orange "circus peanuts" candy. I found a seller on ebay selling foam clown noses cheap and gave those to each of the party attendees. Adults too! It was fun!

Oh, What Fun! A JoJo party will be so much fun. If you live near a Disney Store you should check their plushes. We bought some really cheap small JoJo character plushes there last year. Also, they should have the set of JoJo plastic characters that would be perfect on top of a cake. I love the idea about the popcorn boxes. They would be great as "Favor Bags". Target had nice plastic ones in their Dollar Spot before Christmas, but I haven't seen them lately. You might want to check a Dollar Store, I saw the same boxes at one of ours before Christmas. Use primary colored balloons and paper products. Not sure if there is a JoJo poster available or not, but you could check. Oriental Trading is another place to check. They sometimes have cute circus things. HAVE FUN!!

We just had a JoJo party for our DD 1st birthday in October. We had it in our garage and decorated with crepe (sp??) paper and balloons. The tables all had solid color tablecloths with balloon confetti sprinkled on it. We had a local sign maker paint JoJo with Happy 1st Birthday on it. We ate hot dogs and hamburgers and had a few side dishes. The party favors were little plastic bags with balloons on it and I filled it with popcorn and M&M's. That was a hit with everyone. The cake was a splurge. It was 3 tiers (like a wedding cake). The bottom tier was frosted with stripes the color of JoJo's pants, the middle tier was frosted like her shirt and the top tier was frosted like JoJo's hat and this was used for DD's personal cake. DD was JoJo for Halloween so when she(or mom and dad ) opened her gifts we did an "outfit change" into her JoJo costume. If I remember, I will try to post a picture of the cake later. I am at work now. Working really hard.

DD was JOJO for Halloween as well. DD Birthday is in July so I dont know if I will have her wear the costume as we have all parties at my moms house becasue of the barbq pit and the swing set and the trampoline and the patio. so we will be outside.
