Hi everyone! :wave2:

I'm going to be starting my diet this week, so I'll probably be posting regularly on the WISH boards.

I plan on starting WW Online first of all. I've done WW numerous times over the years and it's been the best diet plan for me. My problem has always been getting to the meetings. I had the best leader in the world, but the meetings were in another town, early in the morning. This time around, I'm going to try to do it online. We'll see how that works.

For exercise, I need to start out slow. I have some physical problems that prevents me from doing as much as I probably need, but a little is better than nothing, right? I do have a rarely-used Gazelle that I bought last spring, so mabye I'll take the clothes off of it and dust it off. :p

Anyway, I hope to benefit from the support that seems to be so wonderful here! Hopefully that'll make up for my lack of WW meetings!

Welcome Marseeya!! I'm also doing WW online! Even though the leaders worked for me, the meetings didn't-- It got to the point where I was just not learning anything else, and the other members just did not have the same problems I did, and just couldn't see how I could have any problems (their problems were all that they *had* to have bad stuff in their house because their kids *wanted* it. Since I have no kids, I must not have any problems, right??), but WW online has worked in the past for me!! Plus, you could get all the support you want here, and I have never seen anyone minimize others' struggles like the one main clique did in the WW meetings when I went!! :-) (plus, you can just come on here when you have time, and don't have to worry about being at a certain place at a certain time!!)

Welcome Marseeya!! funny that i popped in to say "hi" -- i have just decided to join WW online myself :) hopefully just for 3-4 mos to get myself back on track and then continue on my own; but DH is very supportive of it so i'm going for it! i plan on registering Jan 3. I'm so happy to see you and look forward to starting 2006 with refreshed healthy habits.
 
Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm glad to see other Weight Watchers here. Which plan are you all using, or going to use?

For my lifestyle, I'm better off with counting points rather than the other one. We eat out a lot and I had a good system going when I was doing it in the past. I knew exactly what to eat during a day to stay at my points, and exactly what I could eat at each restaurant.
 
Flex here-- I last about 3 days with the other program, and then I get incredibly bored with the food (not to mention, you actually have to cook!)

That's my problem! Plus we eat out a lot. I'm sure you can work around it when eating out, but not me. I'd rather eat what I want and count the points for it.

I am back to the plan after a food filled holiday season :blush:
