joining Hotwire thru Mypoints

I thought I'd read here somewhere that you can get My Points by joining Hotwire Savings Club, but I can't find it on My Points. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

I know you can make travel arrangements from Hotwire thru Mypoints but I didn't think you could do the Hotwire Savings Club. I would also like to find out if you could. Anyone know????

I had posted this somewhere before but now I cannot find it:

Sign in to Mypoints. Go to the Hotwire link by way of Merchant Listings (the alphabetical listing ~ H). Click on the link Customer Care in the upper right hand corner of the site. Click on Hotwire Savings Club on the upper left hand corner. There will be a link to join the Savings Club there.

I am so glad that you guys posted this I had no idea I could join hotwire through mypoints.com. Ok though, I did join hotwire, and I also bought my park hoppers through them, through the mypoints link, but I don't see any of those points in my account (I did it yesterday). How long does it take, and is the going rate 1 point per dollar spent? Thanks again to the OP for bringing up the subject and inspiring me to get more for my $$$$!

I'm not sure you can get points for Hotwire unless you buy travel. I signed up for the savings club and I used the link through My Points. That was a week or so ago. I still don't see points.

Shelle&Dave thanks for the quick response, although I have to say I'm feeling a bit discouraged about my great deal I thought I was getting lol! mtblujeans, I was wondering seeing as you knew how to get to hotwiresavingclub through mypoints.com did you sign up this way, and did you get any points? I am also going to contact member services just to be sure I can really be a pain in a company's neck when I think I am supposed to be getting a deal

I am not sure about how long it takes for mypoints signup for Hottwire. But I have had other points take up to 30 days to post. So unless stated it maybe a while before you see it in your account.

Interestingly, I have researched my account activity back to June and it does not show credit for joining Hotwire Savings Club, nor for the orders I have placed for certificates or vouchers. I will have to contact them and find out what is what.

I had to go back to page 21 of this thread to find it but.........I was wondering if anyone has an update on point earnings through mypoints? The mypoints banner was still up when I went through the site.

Anyone recieve 750 for a purchase through Hotwire savings club?

I might keep bumping this to get some attention, I know this thread is a few months old.

'Ya know, I did not get any points for joining Hotwire. I checked back a few months and there were no points for joining. I was going to ask them about it and I forgot. I'll have to remember to ask now.

I just joined Hotwire Savings Club through Upromise (well, I think I did). Did the same thing -- went on the Upromise website and used the Hotwire link. After that, clicked on "Customer Care" to access H.S.C. to join and make purchases. With any luck, I'll see some money in my Upromise account soon!

For those who have purchased tickets through hotwire, do you remember how much you paid for tickets. I was a member last year before our trip, but canceled. I was trying to remember what the ph tickets cost. We ended up buying FITS tickets through paramount, because we were there for 14 days. Next trip we will be doing cruise first and we won't need that FITS ticket, thinking of 5 day php's. Thanks,

It has been more than 30 days so I will have to find the confirmation email I may or may not have received. I have ordered restaurant gift cards and vouchers, too, so I should have gotten credit for them also. I'll get back to you.....

I know Hotwire Savings Club doesn't send confirmation e-mails for orders; you have to be sure to print the order confirmation page when you place your order. I did get a welcome e-mail when I joined.

I too would like to hear if anyone got points for joining or buying gift cards through the Savings Club. I thought it was just for travel purchases through Hotwire.
