I'm sorry Stardebby but if I was there, I would just have to ignore someone that had such perfect weather! We haven't had the really crummy weather that Fargoman has had, but we have a few days of super weather to tease us and we think "Ah, Spring" and then we get a night like last night where it gets below 30 and today's windchill is supposed to be 17! Of course the wind has been howling!!!!!But, hey, the sun is shining so at least it is pretty outside! You just can't go out and do anything without blowing away to Kansas! Go figure. I know spring is coming tho, it alway does, right?

Seriously, I grew up in Southern California in the backyard of DL practically and came back to Oklahoma (where I was born ) when my father left the Navy. I love it here and will probably be here till I die (family is here) but man, the older I get, the more I hate the winters! My ideal weather if 75 degrees year round - no warmer and no colder!
Enjoy your weather. When it is cold like today, I'll snuggle up in a blanket and think of you in your shorts and t-shirts!

Hey Fargoman I'm here on the tundra, too! 22 below yesterday morning and not much warmer this morning. We went to WDW the first week in February for a warm vacation and let me tell you, it was NOT warm in Florida that week. I know that when we got on the plane at 8:30 a.m. in Florida and landed in Fargo at noon, it was the same temperature -- 30 degrees. I hope you have better (warmer) weather when you go. I came back from Disney and I was depressed for a whole week with the thought that I still had 6 weeks or more of winter to live through. I'm so sick of my winter coat. I think I'm just going to throw it away when winter is over and I never want to see it again.

We returned from Disney last week. We loved escaping to the warm weather. We are expecting 8 inches of snow tomorrow. I can't wait until Spring!

Okay you guys that are having the truly crummy weather ! You have it worse than us! I will not complain about our low of 24 this morning and wind chill of 8 today (just reported on the news). You win when it comes to bad weather. We had the warmest February since 2000 but the coldest day (today) all this month.
However, my son and his family live in the Mississippi delta and they may get snow tonight!They never get snow! My son is in Dallas on business and supposed to fly into Memphis tomorrow and Memphis got over three inches of snow today!
If all of us boycott winter, why isn't it gone?

We are in central Long Island and hope that the weather people are wrong as usual! The last thing I want is more snow. The last I heard last night was 6 inches so I really hope it has not been upped to 8! Have had enough of this winter - I can only look forward to spring and our to WDW!

I brought out my measuring stick and it looks like we got 6 inches of snow yesterday! That's a lot for us former Californians! I just started to pack for Florida and I was so excited to bring out the shorts and t-shirts! Of course, our legs will be as white as ghosts though!
