Hi

I am thinking of trying to get some colour on my legs as the great british weather isn't helping LOL!

Has anyone used this lotion, or use anything simular you would recommend?

TIA:thumbsup2

Johnsons tends to go streaky,( on me.) so the dove summer glow is the best for an all even colour! :thumbsup2

I use one by dove its quite good but I have had a few mishaps including orange bed sheets and stripy legs:lmao:

it has built up to quite a natural colour now quite pleased with it:goodvibes

Yes i used this last year,(for fair skin)it did look quite good, but as with all lotions make sure you rub in well round the knees+ankles :thumbsup2 .The first time i tried this-i did'nt and had what looked like 2 dirty knees+ankles.Make sure you are completley dry before putting on any clothes.I used to do it after i had gotten out of the bath, then put a towel on the sofa before you sit down+dry in the nud:thumbsup2 .x.

I can't use anything at the moment as i have a scar on my leg which needs to heal, but someone recommended Wilko's own to me and said it was good.

I used the Johnsons one last summer and found it a bit orange so I tried the Garnier Ambre Solaire no streaks bronzer dry body mist light instead this year. Ive found that this one gives a more natural looking tan although its easier to apply evenly if you get someone else to spray it instead.

Get a spray tan, they are fantastic, will last a good 10 days!:thumbsup2

Tip- put a bit of moisturiser on your elbows and knees then apply the lotion!

Thats what happened to my friend, her boyfriend sprayed it what he thought was even. It was only at the party everyone noticed it wasn't:rotfl:

:scared1:

I've got pale skin and find the Johnson one too orange for me and it went streaky.

I get on much better with the Dove one. Not only does it look a more natural colour but I find it goes on smoothly and evenly. :thumbsup2

Hello I am pale pale pale and even more male lol
I use Johnsons and it's fine on me, but did once by the normal skin and not 'fair' and went a bit orange.
You can't realyl put it on then get into a nice clean white bed, need to do it a few hours before going to bed.
Not tried Dove, but I have friends who swear by it.

Kaylee, if you decide on the Johnson's one and have a Bodycare store near you they were selling it for 99p a bottle a couple of weeks ago. :thumbsup2

The Salon spray tans are hard to beat and not too expensive and you dont have to worry about putting it on all the time :)

Thanks guys. I would love a spray tan but I think I would be embarrassed!!

my dd had a spray tan for last weeks wedding, and it looked fab! wish i had the confidence to stand there and have it done.
