John wayne airport to Disneyland..How far?

It took us about a half hour to drive it the last time we were there and that was with minimal traffic.

I was going to play it by ear and see if we can make the bus...if not, we'll probably grab a cab. Has anyone here had good luck with Super Shuttle. I was told a lot of negative things about them over at Laughing Place. Just wondered if anyone here has had problems with them, too???

Geez...ya think I'd be packing by now, wouldn't you?? LOL...that's next!!!

Ive never had any prob with them in the 4 times Ive used them- I also never travel at off times (early/late) and I think thats where part of the probs come in-

I'ver had prompt service and no issues on Super Shuttle but I have had it several times on Airport Bus and prob wont be using them anymore

I've never had any trouble with Supershuttle and have taken it from John Wayne to DL several times. It will take you to any of the Disneyland area hotels or inns, and you rarely have to wait long at the airport to catch a shuttle to your hotel. You will generally have around 3 or 4 stops per shuttle, so don't expect to be the first party dropped off. There are several other shuttle companies at the airport, and you might find another company is quicker if you've timed it so that a Supershuttle just left. For that reason, I never prepay. You do have to schedule your pickup from the hotel to the airport, and you might have to wait 15 minutes or so for you return pickup. The only thing I don't like is that you're kinda stuck with that return time. One recent visit, my son woke up sick the last day, and so wasn't up to playing at the parks prior to our flight. We had to check out of the hotel, and DS wanted to wait out the time before our flight at the airport rather than in the hotel lobby. Supershuttle would not take us to the airport early, even though shuttles stopped at the hotel that were not fully booked. We ended up taking a cab.

By the way, a cab is as cheap or even cheaper if you have 4 in your party. With 2, I'd go with the Airporter (if the timing was right that I didn't have to wait long) or Supershuttle; with 3 or 4, I'd go with a cab (no stops, no waits).

I don't think it's ever taken us any more than 1/2 hour, and often a little less.

For us, we want to go directly to the hotel. We use a company called Limo2Go. Mark is great and provides excellent service. I think the price is $40 plus a tip. The cars are very comfortable and they even have larger SUVs where you can fit 6 people or so. If you want his number send me a private message and I will get it to you. We highly recommend him.

My concern with taking a cab is that we will be 4 people with luggage for the cruise (1 large suitcase each and 1 carry on each). Will these fit in a cab?

That is why we use Limos2go. They have larger vehicles like Suburbans, etc. that will allow for lots of luggage and people. They meet you at the bottom of the escalator at baggage claim and then take you right to the hotel. They are clean and we request non-smoking ... plus they take VISA so I get my miles also. You just have to let Mark know when you call the size of your party and how much luggage you have. They take care of the rest. It is a nice feeling.

I made a reservation for the supershuttle to take my husband from John Wayne Airport to our hotel there on harbor blvd...but not sure what to have him do when he gets off the plane? Just go up to any of the blue vans? Have you even done a reservation?
