Very Very sad, my thoughts are with them.

My sister died when she was 3 she hit her head when she fell down the stairs.

Oh my, I am so sorry to hear that. Your post sent chills down my spine, as my 19 mo old just tumbled down a flight of stairs on New Year's Eve. She cried for about 30 seconds and then was over it, but I spent the next 12 hours or so worrying that she might have a hidden injury or something.

Isn't this the same son that had a known seizure disorder (I can't remember wich child it was)? If so, then the Travoltas declined medical treatment (seizure medication) due to their own religious convictions. This would have been a preventable accident if the child was on proper medication.

That isn't necessarily true; our friend's son was on seizure meds and when he was in college he had a seizure fell in the shower hit his head and died which is very similar to this accident.

Jett's death is also bringing up the question of an issue that he had autism and that Travolta's Scientology beliefs prevented diagnosis and treatment. How sad for the family - not only do they have to deal with the death of their son, but also this issue again.

We don't know if they declined treatment. I think they just kept their private life private. If read old articles there was one about Jett getting ear tubes. So they are not against medical treatments. I am sure they took great care of him and his sister. What an awful tragedy.

Very very sad.... prayers for his family! Wow. Its hard enough for regular folk, but for those in the public eye.....
