We just returned 2/1 from a stay at BCV for 10 days. Unfortunatly I was sick with the flu for the last 6 days of the trip and we had a late flight on our leaving day and had no idea what I was going to do being so sick and needing to check out of the villa at 11:00.
My mom went and spoke to John the day before we were to check out to see if anyone could help us. We were willing to pay for a room so I could rest until we needed to leave we just needed to know how to do this. John said that we could have a room at the Beach Club until 3:00 at no extra charge if we still needed it on check out day. I felt so much relief that I would not have to be upright for 8hrs. before we could get our flight.
The next day we left our villa at 11:00am and mom went to the desk to see John about his offer. (Maybe he saw me slumped over in the lobby) He was very kind to my mom and said that he had a room for us and we could stay as long as we needed it! We could stay until 5:00 if we wanted!
What a blessing this was! I was the one who needed to get us & the rental car back to the airport for 6:30 and being able to rest all day in the room was enough for me to be able to make it.
Thank you John at the Beach Club you were truly one of the only bright spots of this vacation and if not for your care and compassion I don't know that I really could have made it all day to get to the airport.
