John - as promised - Podcast magnets hit NYC

I love the OP's pictures, but felt I HAD to do something to represent the Fire Service. Easier said/thought than done.

Lesson #1 - Fire Trucks are not magnetic. They mentioned this in attempting to put yellow ribbons on the trucks. We had to order window decals.

Lesson #2 - Fire Trucks are VERY reflective - not good for photos inside the hall.

The magnet is otherwise on the back of my front door at home with a few of my other ones.


ETA - sorry the last one is blurry...I didn't realize that until now... (must wear glasses more often!)

Awesome to all of you cruisers using your magnets!

I was actually thinking the other night that it would be a very cool fundraiser (much like the shirts) to sell DIS or DIS Unplugged magnets. The money could go to GKTW or another charity or to help support the site. Any thoughts on this?

That would be so cool to be driving down the street being able to identify another podcast listener! Next thing you know, people would start honking at each other over the magnets.

Well I haven't completely unpacked yet.
I have a few small magnets on the fridge and freezer.
I will also be putting some on the inside and outside of my front door.
When I have it done I will post my pictures.
The police car and fire truck are very cool guys.
I won't be putting any on my car as I don't want to lose them.
