I have a quick question for my SIL who wants to bring her double jogging stroller to the parks this summer. Are they allowed? I know strollers have to be folded for buses but unsure what to tell her (we've been out of the stroller stage for a few years!). TIA!

ETA-I read SIL's email wrong! She's asking about bringing a bicycle stroller, not a jogging stroller. I really have no idea about those!

Sorry for the confusion!

Yep.

I don't see why they wouldn't be - but are they easy to steer? (Aren't the front wheels locked so they can't swivel - I think that'd be hard to maneuver in the parks.)

there is a size restriction on large strollers though, just make sure it is under the allowed size.

I just edited my original post. I misunderstood what sort of stroller she was asking about...she wants to bring a bicycle stroller, not a jogging stroller. :confused3

That won't be allowed.

I can't post links from my iPad, but there are size limits to strollers, and a double bike stroller is probably too big. And you can't use anything has to be pulled. It is push only.

How did she plan on using it in the parks? Was she going to attach it to something?:confused3

We own a Chariot bicycle stroller than can also be pushed (walks, rollerblade, etc.) but I don't see how it can be allowed as it is impossible to fold without removing the front wheel. I wouldn't bring that with me personally.

I saw someone with one of those last trip. The bus driver wouldn't let them on the bus with it.
