We were in Orlando back in October and they were building one of these on I-Drive on the corner of Jamaicen Ct.

Is it open yet?If so how is the food?

There are already a bunch of Joe's around Orlando. Not being a seafood eater I cannot say how that is but I've had the meat items a few times. OK, ntohing I would rush out for and price was OK - not too high but certainly not a discount from a "regular" steak place. I can walk to one of the locations from Cypress Pointe but, unless a gropu plans to go there, I don't. Much prefer a good steakhouse or the Orlando Ale House over Joe's.

I haven't been to the one you are referencing but I have been to a few and I will just say that I am not impressed, at all, I found the prices to be a bit high for us. I won't go again. It's just another overpriced themed tourist trap to me. Sorry, jmho. I recently moved to Williamsburg, Va and I am finding out there are a lot of places here that are like this. Mediocre food, good theming and atmosphere, huge price tag.

I will offer the contrary opinion for Joe's. We have been to the one near DTD on several occasions and do enjoy it. The seafood is good, not spectacular, but good. The atmosphere is fun.

As far as price, we thought that the price was fair, not low and not outrageous. We plan on going back in February.

Are they still owned by Landry's?? Can you use a Landrys gift card there??
