Joe's Crab Shack

Not sure if this is the right place for this, so if needed to move then, please do so. But just wondering where is the closest Joe's Crab Shack, for us who would be staying at CSR? And since we would have to get a taxi there, where would be the best place to get it from? We've just been wanting to try this restaurant, so just in case. Thanks

Thanks for the info. We were just looking to go off site for something a little different. We don't mind "chainlike" places that we don't have here. That's why we were also considering Cheesecake Factory at the Mall of Millenia. Decisions...decisions...

joe's crab shack is casual, purposely lowbrow, fun imo

we like the crab houses better for food quality, bit more upscale, have wanted to try either of these 2

That has become one of DH's favorite places. He always gets different types of crabs there, and loves them all. Not only do they offer different types of crabs, but different seasonings too.
We have always had good service at Joe's.
Mostly we go to the one mentioned above on 192. But we have gone to the other location about a mile from DTD.

Mall of Millenia is MUCH further than Joe's crab shack! Crab shack maybe 8 miles, Millenia closer to 20.

There is a Joe's on 535 too (if you leave the Downtown Disney gate and make a left, you'll find it...although Chevy's at the Crossroads would pull me in first). I find Red Lobster to be much better than Joe's. If you want something different and fun, you might want to consider Bubba Gump's at Citywalk by Universal, especially if you are a fan of the movie.

Thanks all for the additional info and the landry's link. Now thinking since Joe's is closer, so maybe easier to drive to, so when we have a car on our next visit may just leave that for then. Don't really like driving in unknown territories. And plus if we want seafood we may just go to Fultons at DTD. I know much different food from Joe's. And maybe will just stick with getting a cab to the mall. Although since it is that much further away, not sure how much it will cost.
