Part 10: Day: 7: Typhoon Lagoon
Awake at 2.30, 3.30 and 4.00, I have major earache problems all night and finally gave into tears and tantrums around 4.30. At 5.00 Gavin insisted on returning to the hospital. Two hours and $142 later I have another prescription, this on was slightly cheaper at $13.00 over the $32 the last one cost me. It was eardrops again but I was promised they would numb my face so I would feel no pain while the antibiotic drops did their stuff. Bring it on.
Had a bit of a run around to get prescription filled. Walgreens is 24 hours but not all of them had a pharmacist working but each they did have directions to the nearest store that did.
Obviously TL is out of the question. Again I am far more upset than Gavin, I had really hoped it would be ok for me to swim by now but its not to be.
After so little sleep we decided to take it slow and chill out in the villa. On the way back we go to McDonalds for breakfast. Two sausage and egg mcmuffins with one orange and one coke $7.48 cheap and it taste just the same!
Arrived home about 7.45, just in time to see a very tired group leaving for IOA. At this point Gavin and I applaud ourselves at getting our own car. The other nine are having fun but as they have had one chief planner he is finding it hard to adjust his plan to the groups needs and they are finding it hard to keep
up. I feel there may be a rebellion soon ..
After the rest of them had left we made a cup of tea and sat down to watch US daytime TV. Around lunchtime Gavin nipped to publix to get some sweets (I am ill so I can eat what I like!)
To be honest this was the extent of our day. We both napped a lot, ate a lot and I put in loads of eardrops.
Not the most exciting day we have had but Gavin was in need of a break and I certainly needed to be poorly for a while without fretting my park days were been ruined.
Fingers crossed its all over now, am not sure my credit card can take another hospital visit!
No photos taken today so heres two of the villa and car...
