Maybe some people just need the attention as they have no one in life. But this is the wrong way to go about it.

Let's just say 1) I'm not surprised and 2) I've been here since '99 and have many MANY reasons to be suspicious of newbies, esp when one particular DISer comes back over and over and over again with different usernames (for as long as I've been here!). There are some sick folks out there who need to get lives.

As a newbie, I'd like to thank all of you for welcoming me a couple of weeks ago. I solemnly swear that I will not (knowingly) post fake information or create faux-threads to garner your attention. I just want to dish on this most appalling trial and you folks are the best ones I've found to do that with!!

In the court of public opinion, the penalties of defending Jodi Arias or testifying in her behalf are threats against your career or even your life.

A Maricopa County chief deputy sheriff said the Sheriff’s Office looked into two matters regarding Arias defense attorney Jennifer Willmott and confirmed that at least one of them was a death threat made from out of state.

“It was not even credible,” said Deputy Chief Jack MacIntyre, and he said that Willmott did not want to aid in prosecution, so there would be no ongoing investigation.

But a transcript of another voice mail to Willmott, which was obtained by The Arizona Republic, said, “You don’t have to return my call, but I’m just telling you: If Jodi, if you get her off of the death penalty, we will find you, we know where you’re at, we will kill you. I told Alyce the same thing, and we’re tired, and we’re sick and tired of you defending this person, and we will get you.”

I have been so good too....4 weeks of no wheat products/hardly any carbs but Nutella cookies....oh my!!!

Stuck at work and have to go to a wake tonight...I won't be able to get filled in until late...heck maybe the trial won't even get started by then...haha!

I ended up using my hands for the dough and didn't do the pressing and smoothing, just pushed down once with a fork.
Yummy in my tummy

That's disgusting...it really is. As much as I can't stand Nurmi and Willie and the whole Casey Anthony jury, to threaten, or God help us all, carry out a threat, does nothing to improve justice. What happens when people refuse to serve on juries, or lawyers refuse to defend someone, out of fear? Not what this country is about. It's sad. More than sad...it's truly frightening.
