I'm really having a hard time seeing how all of this is relevant to this case. The worst JA can prove is that TA called her names. I understand the expert is saying that is abuse- show me one person who hasn't been called or called someone else a name.

JA is the one who stalked TA yet that isn't being allowed in. JA didn't stay in an abusive relationship- SHE LEFT. TA didn't want her back- HE MOVED ON. She then stalked him and killed him.

Heck, even ALV was talking about the guy they called"the drive by fruiter". Wouldn't that be considered calling someone a name. Even though it describes what he did, according to her, it is not nice to call someone names.

And I agree. TA was the one who was abused, stalked, etc.

I must have missed it. But why was the doggie door and her slashing his tires not allowed into evidence?

Only reason I can see why JM isn't objecting is because he's going to come back on cross and say, "THIS situation doesn't apply to TA/JA, does it? And THIS situation didn't apply to TA/JA, did it? THIS never happened between them, correct?"

Otherwise, I can't see why she is being allowed to ramble on for so long.

Sometimes it is good to let people ramble, gives the other side more ammunition.

I think the doggy door came out when one of Travis' friends testified. The tire slashing was not disclosed, I believe.

The hostages will sympathize with their hostage takers and even bond with them to an extent. Self preservation. Therefore, I think she(JW) is alluding that Jodi stayed with TA because it was better to keep him happy then make him mad. Crazy considering he let her move away and got on with his life. I guess they are going over every and any reason why JA behaved the way she did without taking responsibility for her actions.

That is correct. She left and went to live back home. She is not a hostage to anything. Travis was the one who told people what was happening.
