Jodi Arias Trial Part 4, starting with redirect of "expert" Dr Samuels, March 19

I am watching as well. I am thinking about something Jodi said. She said she remember hearing the knife clang on the tile floor. Then she said I don't know anything after that. So she had to remember stabbing him as she does not remember anything after she heard the knife drop on the floor.

:scared1: Great point! I hadn't thought of that!

Who is the guy with the goofy sideburns? He annoys me just to look at him! (I'm multi-tasking, as usual.)

No kidding.

Actually he was a criminal investigator that didn't seem to know much about the case :) ...

I know HLN After Dark is just a tv show but all week the Jury has not been unanimous with their verdicts ... It's getting a wee bit scary to think that this could happen with the real jury in this case too :scared: ... Or worse yet, they could actually acquit her like CA :scared1: ...

::yes:::worried:

I really would not worry about that. I truly believe that this jury has this figured out. This Dr. has been discredited , meaning that Jodi is in the same boat. It is the Dr. job to assure her credibility. The questions they are flinging at him clearly show they don't believe him. It really all comes down to the state to prove premeditation. And Juan is doing an excellent job.

Remember CA she did not get on the stand, Jodi is up there and keeps changing her story every which way she can. And the jury can see right through her as well.

I haven't looked back on any previous pages, but I was just looking at twitter and INSESSION posted a tweet about some court observers where kicked out when it was heard one of them say "I wish she were dead already".

Who was it guys....who of us were in the courtroom today? :lmao:

I also saw my cousin posting about the trial from FB. I messaged him about it and he said he's good friend is married to Travis's sister Tannisha (he's the guy with the shaved head and goatee). I sent my sympathies. Brought it home though. :sad1:

Do you happen to know if the jury was in the room? i could see the defense asking for a mistrial because of that comment.

There were two ladies sitting directly behind Jodi's mom. The one woman said she wanted Jodi dead. The mom heard it and the she was escorted out. The woman who is on the Dr. Drew show said it was during the last recess.

No I plead the fifth. I was not there. I mean I am not that many states away, but nope not I!

Watching Jane Velez Mitchell she showed a gun expert firing the .25 in 3 different ways, and I think she did the experiment as well. One with the gun cocked and safety off. She explained that it was very easy to pull the trigger, it did not take much effort. The next was safety off but not cocked, she said it was more difficult but not impossible to pull the trigger. The last was safety on and not cocked, that was much more difficult and would have been really tough for Jodi to have done in a quick time and no previous experience. My thoughts after seeing this was that it makes her story even more BS because she would have had to know to grab the gun gently and go nowhere near the trigger if it was left in a position all ready to fire..

And a juror on HLN After Dark brought up a very good point in that if they were going to tie each other up to the bed... the whole reason for the rope and bringing the knife to cut the rope etc.. where do you place the ties on a sleigh bed? Also if Travis went to the butcher block to get the knife to cut the rope, why didn't he just use the scissors that were in the butcher block???

The rope scenario is a lie, as the Dr. said she told him that it was both hands and feet.

Just caught up with the case.

I just have to say JM did a lot with very little time, it really was impressive and I can't wait to see what he does with a whole weekend of planning.

He is just flat out shedding this quacks credibility, now he rescored the test and came up with a even higher score then the first time? If the answers are the same, how is that even possible? What did he also make A "mistake" or "error' the first time he scored the test then? Or did he make a mistake the second time OR is he embellishing those results on the second test, those are the only 3 possibility's now and any way you go he screwed up on one of those times grading that test!

JM also got him to admit he had compassion and sympathy for JA, so he tried to then change the definition of those words, lol! I mean who the hell does this guy think he is! He is trying to spin so hard he is willing to try and change the meaning of words that are hundreds of years old if not older in the English language! :faint:

JM is gonna finish shredding this guy Monday, then I believe (and please somebody correct me if I am wrong) the next person to take the stand in the state's expert correct? They will further disprove this quacks findings I am sure, if I am correct on that.

He screwed up, he sent the original test and then could not get it. So he took a second one and scored the second one differently. Not very bright.

Indeed, so much double talk, mistakes and inconsistencies from this guy, honestly JM could not of been handed a better DT "expert".

Yeah, and when you're "extremely frightened" and fearing for your life, that's not going to go through your mind. When you grab a gun, it's natural to grab the trigger and the gun would have had to be in perfect position to grab it correctly and not have to adjust it in her hands. But if the safety was off and gun ready to go, she would have most likely shot a hole in the closet or shot herself in the process-depending on the geography of the gun.

I gotta find the video. Have all weekend to catch up.

I got to see the last little bit when I got off work.
JM is a master.
I am still worried though.
Never know what a jury will do.

I'm watching also. UGH looks like they're bringing Baez in next. :crazy2:
Was Baez on last night?? Ugh. I haven't watched it yet.

There are 18 jurors there and not all are asking questions, per observers like Beth Karas. I think it was Jingasuarus who said that about 1/2 were (at least of Jodi). And 6 of the 18 will be alternates. There could be one juror who isn't thinking the same as what it appears we're hearing. Of course, I hope they are, but I'm not going to assume anything about how this case will turn out. Hope it's 1st degree, but who knows. BTDT.

:( That would.

I don't think the mother and aunt heard it...I think it was another relative, who stood up and said something to the women and called the bailiff over and had the women removed. The woman on Dr Drew was sitting behind the offending women and said it appeared those women were saying things loudly, as if they wanted Jodi's mother and aunt to hear. I don't particularly "like" Jodi's mother and aunt (but they are Jodi's victims too...she's ruined a lot of lives), but beyond that, who acts like that in a courtroom anyway, but esp a high profile one with cameras and reporters?

Remember during the CA trial when one woman screamed something and ran out of the courtroom, and was hauled back in? And the young guy who gave the finger to the camera in the courtroom? And how Judge Perry hauled them both in front of him and questioned them, jailed them, and fined them? :cheer2: I certainly don't think something like this, or what those women did, could lead to a mistrial (**** happens, and we'd be doing trials over and over again), but I do think those women should be held responsible. Judge Perry would have had a field day with them. God, I miss him.

I absolutely agree about the scissors! When given a choice, who chooses a knife instead to cut rope? And this wasn't thick rope...this was soft comfy rope. ::yes:: According to JM's questioning, and I think Jodi agreed, the rope would have been loose behind the bed, coming around the sides, and tied around her wrists. But yeah, no mention of ankles before this. If her ankles were tied too, did she really have that much presence of mind "in the fog" to think about, find, and bring BOTH pieces of rope with her? And for two kinky people taking pictures, wouldn't a picture of Jodi tied to the bed be particular "special"? And there are none.
