Hey, while my plumber is extremely handsome, I see him every so often so no, the trial is gonna have my attention tomorrow. :rotfl2:

You don't have a phone to stream the testimony?
Hhhmmm...I don't know. Let's think about this...Little Red Riding Hood, Spiderman underwear, plumber fantasies. Jodi could make a story out of that!

Oh geez...stream on my phone?? I have until tomorrow to figure this out?? I GOT my iPhone to stream the Casey Anthony trial because my DS had a Dr appt one day, but I never did figure it out.
I thought there was some law in Florida where the defendant couldn't receive money from their story. Guess I got that wrong, sorry.
There was technically no crime. But afterwards, there was an outcry about who might publish her because she's so blacklisted. Can't wait to see where she ends up tho.

Yes, Big Thanks to MaryAnnDVC and thanks to all the diser's here that I get to discuss this case with. Otherwise, I would be sitting alone on the couch yelling at the tv and the cat about the trial.

How interesting. Still she just happened to run into the closet that had a gun.

It amazes me, also, how high up she points to where it was located. Unless she had her Go-Go-Gadget legs on, I seriously doubt she could reach all the way up to that shelf, "in the corner" where she said it was located (which I took to mean the back corner).

I looked into this. According to the program notes of a Nancy Grace show, this is what they were talking about. I will try to paraphrase as much as I can.

On July 14, the police went to arrest JA. They watched her from outside and saw her inside packing boxes and suitcases. They believed she was going to flee so they watched. She went outside to talk to a lady in a car who later turned out to be her Mom. The next day, they found a rental car outside her grandparents house. They arrested her and executed a search warrant. Inside the rental car, they found 2 knives in the box of books and a box of .9 millimeter bullets, no gun. Less than a month later, her mother was inquiring where the gun was that JA had hidden in the rental car. They traced the car and it was found to have has a .9 millimeter gun hidden it and that had been found when it was detailed. Later, a box of .25 bullets were found in her mother's house. When asked why they thought the State did not bring this to the jury yet, they think it will come up in rebuttal.

I knew her mom had to know something. If the plot don't thicken. And how did her mom know she had a gun in the rental car? Did she confess to her mom?

ACK! Color me embarassed now, Remus! All this time I thought you were MALE and married! Forgive me? :flower3:

It's quite alright, course, if I was male and married, I think my wife might have a really adverse reaction to me thinking the plumber is sooo handsome! ;)

:lmao:

Ditto! Only I have no cat to talk to, just me, myself, and I until my husband gets home from work. Thanks to all who provide links and information! I have loved discussing this trial with you all.

I am trying to reflect here, did she say she needed to get a chair to reach that gun? If so how could you have that much more time , if he is right behind you?

Oh she'd have said the plumber did it and we know it's usually the butler who did it. ;)

Here's how I streamed yesterday, emailed this link http://www.abc15.com/generic/news/live-video to myself, opened the email on my phone and clicked on the link. Voila, streaming testimony.

Well, I was wondering and wondering and trying to figure it out, but I thought, "Well, maybe it's a female plumber ... but then how would she be handsome?" :confused3 :rotfl:

My husband says I am a little dense sometimes. ::yes:: It's times like this that prove him to be right! :thumbsup2

And if she did confess to mom, and/or mom helped her out with any part of it; guess what? Mom can be on trial next. Accessory to murder or possibly tampering with evidence.

I agree. I also think that if I was trying to get away from someone, I wouldn't stop to go searching for a gun. Plus, she admitted it was high on a shelf in the top corner of the closet. She had to get up on a chair when she was cleaning when she found it. If Travis was chasing after her, I wouldn't think she would have had enough time to pull the chair over there, dig in the box, and point it at him before he caught up to her. She is a lying liar who lies!

I need to go back and listen carefully, didn't she say after getting the gun she ran back into the bathroom and pointed the gun at him? Or am I hearing things?

And if she needed a chair, why wasn't it in the crime scene photo still in the closet? That would further bolster her story it was his gun, if she had left the chair there.

Does anyone know who her mom asked about the gun? Was it the police as they were arresting her?

Lovefest everyone! Hoppin' on in to the Cyber Love Sack! LOL Thanks all! It's good to feel appreciated. I'm going to tell my DH and my children and the dog and shame them all. ::yes:: ;) And thanks to all for chattin' it up about this case. :thumbsup2

Ah, interesting.

The chair would have been left in place and the door wide open and possibly a mess in the closet grabbing for things. Oh I would love to pick the prosecutions brain. I have so many questions.

Is the dog complaining? :lmao:

I thought she said he was still chasing her when she came out of the closet!:rolleyes1
So why the hell didn't you run for the door out of the bedroom???

She is so full of bologna.

I knew her mom had to know something. If the plot don't thicken. And how did her mom know she had a gun in the rental car? Did she confess to her mom?

All I read was that she had a lengthy conversation with a female person in the driver's seat. They believed it to be her Mother. It ended when Jodi went back inside her grandparent's house and her mother driving off. It also mentioned that the gun in the rental car was so hidden, it was only found when the car was serviced. It also goes on to mention that the police report mentions the mother inquiring, but does not say to who she was inquiring to but she was asking about the gun her daughter had hidden in the car. So Jodi's mom knows information.
