Ooh good point. Don't know how tall she is but I'm 5'10" and DH has those tall shelves in his closet and I can't reach the top without jumping a few times to knock off what I'm after (too lazy for a step stool).

I read JA is 5'6.

I am 5'6, I cannot reach the top of our closet without a step stool.

HOLES wayyyyy to many HOLES in what JA is saying.

Martinez and Flores were scribbling furiously the entire time she was testifying. Me thinks he's going to nail her on cross. ::yes::

But she told the detective she Travis didn't have a gin that she knew of, but she just said she knew it was there?

:thumbsup2
did they think that by not even addressing the actual murder details the jury will think she is battered.???? What a mistake....
This is just so UNrealistic as she had minute details about everything else...

I love that she blames the Lic. plate on a bunch of kids....:lmao:
Cant recall ANYthing about the murder...and the atty does not even TRY to explain the stabbings and slit throat..
She did not know she shot him??? Really
and isnt the whole sequence of events not accurate (as far as forensics also) ???

I think that what really bothers me is that she stills takes no responsibility for the death, and she says she was concerned that HER life was over.... simply sickening..

I am just so saddened for his family
I can actually say after listening to her, in her own words ..explain her version of why and how (I wanted to shout, just LEAVE if you were so scared...she chose not too)
I have no regard for her and what happens to her at all.
And more importantly I think the entire "story" is fake as well...she felt used and he was moving on, the sex could not keep him and she wanted no one else to have him..end of story..

What a sad sad situation..

If he was chasing her, NAKED, wouldn't one's first thought be to get out of his room? I mean, that would force him to run out of his room naked!

There are SO many holes in her story. Defense attorneys HAVE TO know that, don't they?? Is she versed in every possible question Martinez is going to throw at her?

The shell casing was ON TOP of the blood. She had to have stabbed him first. So when she shot him, she was not struggling with him.

You know I have been watching them daily scribbling furiously, I wonder why they do not have laptops? I type faster and better than I write. Hmmm.

And they could WATCH her as they type away.

Her story was awful.
I bet if she was asked to repeat it again, she wouldn't be able to.

Did the roommates know Travis had a gun?

SHE told the detective in the interviews...he did NOt have a gun.....no one else said that he had one...

now she knows he has it, knows where it was, knows its loaded...
OMgosh........what a joke:rotfl:

That's it. I think she introduced him to a lot of things that he found exciting for whatever reason, but finally, the sex wasn't enough to keep him, and she was angry.

Yes, she knew it was loaded? How? She opened it to look?
Too Much.
I know where my husbands gun is too. But do I touch it and check to see if its loaded while I am cleaning????
Nope, I don't care to ever touch it.

That's why the cross is going to be so uber-interesting to watch, because Martinez is going to try to make her repeat as much as he can to see how often he can trip her up in a lie. ::yes:: I. cannot. wait.

I can answer that. Former paralegal here. My boss loved her some legal pads. You can't flip around pages on a laptop, different pages for different things, arrows here, pointing there, drawing out links of different pieces of info. It's just easier on paper. Plus, Martinez is older and in my experience, older attorneys still like lots of paper. It's difficult to make the change to paperless when you have operated with piles of paper for so long.
