Missed it today and will miss it tomorrow. Hoping InSession has a good Readers Digest condensed recap on Monday.

Oh my! I think that picture was enough, they showed the throat

If you missed it today, the State introduced numerous bloody photos today.

No court tomorrow or Monday so In Session should be able to recap and update easily on Monday.

I just heard about this case yesterday while watching the news. I was shocked by how brutal this murder was. :scared:

Her attorneys will argue she killed him in self-defense.
She stabbed him 27 times and slit his throat from ear to ear in self defense? Um, no.

She shot him too with a gun that was reported stolen from her grandparents home just a week or two before. I dont see how in this world this could be ruled self defense, even without the gun.

It should be an interesting trial and I'm glad this thread was started about it. :)

Just heard about this a couple of days ago. Glad to see someone started a thread on it as I was hoping to hear the outcome.

Don't understand how she can claim self defense on this one. Talking pictures of his dead body, drastically changing her story over and over again and then throwing the camera in the washing machine (to destroy the pictures I assume) sure don't look like the actions of an innocent person.

Throwing the camera in the wash got me. I guess she thought you could not retrieve something off of it.

What a little sociopath. Self defense my eye. She could have just shot him with the.gun but to use a knife is a real personal way to kill someone. I haven't the court proceedings yet but i did see a glimpse of.what.looked like fake.crying of her in the news.

I was hoping someone would start a thread for this trial. She's a Casey Anthony of 2013. Blech. I hope she gets put away for life. Seems as though there is a lot more damning evidence than what Casey had. Hoping this jury knows their job!

Lets hope so.

Is it being carried on TV anywhere. I found a link for streaming video buy my internet is slooooow.

thanks,

What a bizarre and sad case. I read an article that had a "supposed" picture of the man just minutes before his death. Just reading that it was described as moments before and seeing it was awful. The look on his face is hard to describe but it looked like he had been crying, upset. He didn't look threatening as the woman has saying. Terrible way to go. In the shower, defenseless against a knife and a gun! How that woman would even try to concoct a story with evidence like this case has, is beyond reason.

Strange about the pictures before, during, and after. Leaving the camera in the washing machine? I'm sure she thought it would be ruined in the water. But it does show she was thinking about repercussions and evidence.

It would be very hard to convince me of self defense when someone took pictures of the victim during/after the attack and then tried to wash the camera.

I know Casey got away with it, but I don't think this loon has a chance.

I agree. I don't think the woman has a chance.

I think it's scheduled for coverage on TruTV In Session starting Monday morning at 8.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to record it.

I go to their website from time to time. They have an extensive crime library.

I just read on In Session's Facebook, they'll be using Monday to get viewers all caught up and broadcast live Tuesday when the trial resumes in AZ.

I think I'm gonna stick to watching it thru azfamily.com coz some of the moderators' voices on TruTV just give me a headache. :headache:

Course, our best source of information especially inadmissable evidence will be this thread! ;)

I dont think she has a chance of getting away with it either but apparently she feels different. I have been avoiding watching Nancy Grace, but I couldnt sleep last night and flipping through the channels I saw a show where she was talking about this case. It had clips of the woman being interviewed. She seemed weirdly calm, and strange. She also said that there is nothing there to prove that she did it. I guess she is convinced that she will get away with it. :rolleyes1

I had also not seen her before last night either. They said that she asked to be allowed to do her hair and makeup before going to the police Dept. I thought, oh my!
