Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville

We would love to go to Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville when we arrive in Orlando the afternoon of April 24. Can anyone tell us the easiest and cheapest way to get there?

Take your car to Citywalk.Its free parking after like 8 or something.Otherwise pay to park and head on over and enjoy the place.The Cheeseburger's in Paradise are amazing and only $11.Just imagine the best burger you've ever had,on steriods.Btw just follow the signs on the highway to Universal.

Mears.com has a taxi estimator on the site and shuttle service- you can call for shuttle prices. Not sure where you are coming from.

Taxi est. says $32 and thats one way. I would call about shuttle and also the other public transportations they have. I will also go to Jimmy buffetts, couldnt miss it! Our resort has shuttle service too, are you staying anyplace that offers it? We rented a car, but Dh and I are going out(dn is there to babysit) so I may want more margaritas and no driving!

Ditto- LOVE it, we always go there and Bob Marleys. love the Beer Fest in November in City Walk too.

I also thought it was just okay. I've had much better "cheeseburgers" at Chilli's. The Hard Rock was much better.

Do you not have to have Citywalk admission to go there? I have never been to Universal, but I have seen that when you buy tickets that you get "admission" to Citywalk. So, what exactly does that mean if you can just pay to park and go to Margaritaville? I know nothing about the area, but would love to go to Margaritaville and/or Nascar Cafe!

During the day its free, when its night with bands and events its a pay admission. Most bars charge a cover after 9 or 10 pm of $7. You can get a Party pass for a bunch of the bars and pay one fee($11)
- it was pleasure island that changed admission for whole place.
From Jimmy Buffets on city walks website-
"Open for dining daily from 11:30am to 2:00am. Live entertainment nightly starting at 10:00pm with a $7.00 cover charge (includes tax).

For priority seating call 407-224-2155. "

There is no admission charge to CityWalk at any time. The clubs have an admission charge. As well as some restaurants (those offering live entertainment) do charge a cover after a certain time in the evening. There is a pass you can get for unlimited admission to all the clubs. To just walk around CityWalk, there is no charge. There is a parking charge and it is no longer free after 6:00 pm. They now charge $3 after 6:00.

Very family friendly!

I don't even drink, and we make sure we go there every trip. Get them to seat you near the volcano, so the kids can watch it erupt.


OP, Universal also has something called Movie and a Meal. It used to be about $20, not sure how much it is now. You get dinner and admission to the movie theater onsite (each restaurant has a special menu for this, but you can view it at the Universal site).

It's perfectly fine for children at lunchtime and dinnertime.
