Jillian the Bachlorette

I can't believe Wes is still saying he doesn't have a girlfriend!! This was from an interview just this morning:

Wes, when you're in the limo last night, and you say it's pieced together, how exactly do they get a clip of you saying, 'I'm the only guy in Bachelor history who's made it to the top four with a girlfriend.' How do they get that clip?

Wes: They don't play what I say after that. I said, 'I'm the only guy in Bachelorette history to make it to the top four with a girlfriend. Get real, dude. If I had a girlfriend, I'd be home with her right now, and I wouldn't be putting up with this. They said stuff like that all the way through. They can take whatever they want and just play what they want. It's not rocket science. I promise you. I do have a career. I've been a musician for 14 years and I would never go on national TV and sink myself.

This is the entire interview:

Give it up Wes!!

about what
Ummm...the whole series of posts previous to mine? There were several posts back and forth about Melissa, Stephanie, Molly, or Jillian being the next Bachelorette, and who the men were chosen for. That's what.

I would say Stephaine. Why would the choose Texas guys for Molly who didn't live in Texas

I was joking. To be honest, I didn't get too deep into the posts. I just thought it was sort of fun and funny, the back and forth about the whole thing, about who was supposed to be the next Bachelorette and who was picked for her...kind of like the "who's on first" routine. I'm not commenting on the "facts" of the discussion...just the exchange between posters.

Have they said anything at all about the guys going home to meet her family?:confused3

This season is just weird. Yet, I keep on watching...... TEAM REID!!

I thought she came off as very insecure, and the more I think about it, I think she has been insecure all season. She seems terrified of being dumped again, which I guess is understandable. She wants the guys to "put it all out there", but she is not willing to do the same until they do it first. She is trying to force the guys to say something they are not ready to say because she is too insecure to wait for the right time. :sad2:

I have posted two or three times about this....
It is not simply insecurity, it is way deeper than that.
Jillian has some real issues.
I noticed this going all the way back to her on The Bachelor with Jason.

It is to the point that Jillian is actually RUNNING from any true romantic/emotional love. She really is. This was the exact reason why Jason sent her home. The whole "looking for a 'best friend" thing.

She is looking for somebody to swear to be her 'Best Friend' forever. Somebody who could never (not enough balls) dump a woman. Reading between the lines all these weeks and months, going back as far as her and Jason, it is there IN BOLD WRITING.

Many people have noticed her and Kiptyn. OMG, last night it was so painfully obvious that he is nowhere near any level of a committed romantic relationship. It was almost painful to watch how non-emotional and non-committal he was when Jillian was 'pressing' him like the above poster just mentioned.

The closest thing I have seen to a real 'spark' is now happening, with - of all people - Reid!!!!! And, I think this is surprising Jill!!!! I think she is just so totally thrown to be finding this kind of connection with somebody like Reid. Of course, he is nothing like what she thought she was looking for... Everyone has always said that she really doesn't know what she wants.

It was wonderful watching her and Reid on their date!!!!
But, then after the show, it showed the silly out-take of them trying to have him lift her up on his shoulders.... I am all for cutting loose a little bit and having fun, but that seemed way immature. (like college kids....) But, we have to remember, that while Jillian acts mature and together, she IS the girl with the 'hot dog theory'!!!!

At least Wes is GONE!!!!!!

Molly all but admitted on the Bonnie Hunt Show that she was in line for being the next Bachelorette....which Bonnie quickly admonished Jason about.

I think they have "casting" calls in certain towns (they have had them in Denver before) and the majority of the "men" came from the Texas cattle call. Or maybe Jillian has a thing for Texas boys.

Diva-I thought they did the meet her family a few weeks ago (though I did miss that week so I could be wrong).

Preview of next week

"Episode 509" - Romantic adventures await Jillian and the final three bachelors - Ed, Kiptyn and Reid - as they travel to the tropical heaven of Maui, Hawaii for the intimate overnight dates. After finally sending Wes home despite her strong feelings for him, Jillian is confident that she has three incredible men left. The dates are not only filled with amazing sand and surf adventures, but also excitement and passion, as Jillian continues to explore what her future would be like with each of these potential mates. She is once again faced with extending an invitation to each bachelor to spend the night in a "fantasy suite." However, there may be serious repercussions to their decisions and poignant reactions to these intensely emotional trysts, on "The Bachelorette," MONDAY, JULY 13 (8:00-10:02 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Jillian immediately tests Kiptyn with a daring, beachside ropes course designed to build trust and teamwork. She has strong feelings for him and their relationship has grown, but she still isn't sure where this will end. During a romantic evening alone, Jillian confronts him: Is he ready to be the love of her life? And is she ready to take a leap of faith and trust him with her heart?

The next day, Jillian surprises Reid with a spectacular panoramic helicopter tour of Maui, landing at a secluded beach where a romantic picnic awaits them. They have an amazing time, but he confesses something that shakes Jillian. At dinner she lays her heart on the line: Is he going to be ready to propose at the end? And will his answer affect Jillian's decision to continue the night in the "fantasy suite?"

Jillian takes Ed on a boat ride to a remote cove where the couple play in the pristine water. She has some very serious concerns about this bachelor, but out on the boat, Ed, who is head over heels in love with Jillian, presents her with a thrilling and totally unexpected surprise that shows just how serious he is about her.

The Bachelorette once again has the option to spend the night with all three men.

One of the dates does not go according to plan, leaving Jillian wondering if this relationship will ever work out or not.

Jillian is more confused than ever. She is in love with all three men and has concerns about all three. In an attempt to get more insight so she can make her crucial decision, she decides to have a private talk with one of the bachelors about their fantasy suite rendezvous. Finally, she offer her roses to the two final men, but bids a tearful goodbye to a man she truly loves. Then, realizing she is close to finding her fairytale ending, Jillian and two remaining bachelors toast their final adventure

Here are a couple of things I noticed:

She has said repeatedly when referring to Kiptyn: "I don't think I'm in his league" which leads me to believe that she has too many doubts about their relationship.

Reid - the most natural of a relationship, she even said she is most like herself in this one.

Ed - I rewound because I couldn't believe what she said "I'm in my happy place with him". She has used that saying a few times since the show has ended in various interviews (not that she's giving many interviews!!!) so I found that interesting.

Wes - what can you say?? He's not just a tool, he's the whole shed. :rotfl2:

ITA w/ your observations! :thumbsup2 Call me crazy but I don't think Kiptyn is as super good looking as Jill does - looks wise, they match up well IMO however she's got a perception of him being so gorgeous, she doesn't seem as at ease around him

Reid or Ed would be my choice

do you mean Melissa?

Actually Jason and Molly were both on Good Morning America recently and Jason mentioned that the next Bachelorette was going to be between Molly and Melissa. Melissa turned it down (I think because she got an offer to be on Dancing with the Stars). Thank goodness Melissa didn't take it since she is now engaged to her long-time boyfriend.

I'll be honest, in the recent interview with Jason & Molly, Molly didn't look as happy as she did when Jason decided she was the one. They both still live in separate cities and visit each other on the weekends. No engagement. Jason said maybe one day in the future??

Same old, same old.

He looked a little stunned by the comment about American women turning on him.

He actually says that marriage is "absolutely, someday" in their future.

JASON may feel that marriage is for sure in the future but is Molly still as entranced? Maybe she's seeing he's not all he's cracked up to be....and she's not quite as happy about "winning" him after all

He's so strange...the one time that I noticed him on Twitter he was talking about how "the trainer came over for Molly's first session & she did just great!" Dude, you are so lame!
I'm sure Molly loves you tweeting about her like that
!

I agree...and Ed reminds me of Denny from Grey's anatomy.
I like both of them, have hated wes since the beginning.

I knew he reminded me of someone but I couldn't put my finger on it but you are absolutely right!!!!

And it figures, we'll be on our cruise when the finale airs!!!!!!

You might be able to still catch it! I was on a Carnival cruise and was able to watch the finale of the Andrew Firestone Bachelor season. We order room service and watched it in our jammies.
