I think it would be excellent if you're looking for something a little more unusual
A lot of people put it on par with the food at California Grill.
Iate there 2 weeks ago. It was very rich, but *SO* worth it. I especially recommend the Monk Fish. The other highly recommended entree is the fillet with mac and cheese underneath it. Sounds strange, but it was quite tender and tasty (had a taste from DH's plate).
The bread that they serve was really good, and they had sort of a curried butter to spread on it. Very nice.
We had 2 appetizers - Goat Cheese plate (very interesting) and kalamata olive flat bread pizza - also quite good. Reminded me a little of saganaki flambe (flaming greek cheese).
The monkfish was in a rich buttery-tomato sauce. The fish was very tender and not fishy. It was served on top of some roasted vegetables. The entire thing was surrounded by sweet potato chips and drenched in this extremely rich butter sauce.
The other reason to go is that it's not as filled with children or as rushed as some restaurants. It seems more sophisticated and appropriate for an anniversary.
The menu is available online if you haven't seen it!
