Hi
I am going to be making my ADRs later this week and would like to try one of these restaurants as we have not been to either of them before. Which one would you recommend?
Thanks
Ann

Hi Ann!

Looks like we are heading out on the same day :goodvibes Can't come around quick enough for me :cool1:

I've been trawling the menus for our ADR's too but until I make a decision regarding where we are going to stay it seems a bit like putting the horse before the apple cart :rotfl2:

To your question, Jiko would be my choice because the menu seems so widely different to anything we would normally eat and that forms part of our holiday. I also love the ambience in there:snooty::lmao:

Only eaten at Yachtsman (twice) don't like look of Jiko menu myself.
First visit was our best meal of the trip, outstanding service & food, second visit not as good still great steak but desserts were not what we like, a bit too arty, high price and nothing on your plate.
We are trying Narcoossee's this year.

We love Jiko! Had a great meal there last Nov!

Thanks for the replies. I think we are going to try Jiko this visit - and I can have a look around AKL while we are there.

Hi,
eaten in Jiko twice, first time was superb, one of the best meals we have had, second time a massive let down, total change of menu, no one else eating there. Been twice to yachtsmans, great steak each time, would go back without a thought, but..... how about Flying Fish Cafe. We have been 3 times now and is still on our list forour next visit.

We love yachtsman. For us it is worth a 2 dining credit.
