Jiko kitchen

Has anyone ate at the Jiko bar (kitchen) ? If so, what was it like? Can some of the group order the chef's selection and some order off the regular menu? Some in our group are not that daring. Thanks!

Did you mean a "chef's table"?? IF so, can't help.
The other kitchen area is not a bar and not really an open kitchen. It's a "cooking place" in the front of the restaurant where they make the appetizers and flatbreads.
We've not been seated there, but every trip to JIKo we always see some folks seated in that area.

We sat there once. It was really fun interacting with the chef's.

We ate at Jiko last night, and I thought about sitting there, but we opted for a table instead.
