So far, as far as we know, the new menu can be found at Liberty Tree Tavern (lunch) and Tony's Town Square in the Magic Kingdom; '50s Prime Time Cafe, Mama Melrose, Brown Derby, and Sci Fi at the Disney-MGM Studios; Boatwright's at Port Orleans Resort; Spoodles at the Boardwalk. For further updates about that, keep an eye here: http://allearsnet.com/menu/menu_ddpkids.htm
I had a call in response to an email I sent voicing concern about the lack of variety for children meals if they switched to an identical menu. I was told that none of the signature restaurants were going to be switiching to the standardized menu.
This was left as a message on my answering machine so I didn't actually speak to them myself. I was actually impressed because I hadn't left a phone number in my email, yet they managed to find it and call. It's nice that WDW is taking people's worries seriously.
Calling back may just get you more information that may or may not be what you're looking for. By telephone, at best, you can get generally information, including some that may or may not be dated. It is best not to rely on any information you don't have in writing on Disney letterhead (and of course, most every piece of information Disney provides in writing says, "subject to change without notice" -- because it is.)
LOL -- you're probably right Bicker! Maybe I'll save myself the long distance charges.
I'm hoping that by our Christmas trip the kids menus will have been adjusted to add a bit more variety. If not we'll deal with it in December and see what our options are for our next vacations.
That's really the best advice for most all the minor details that people get worked-up about. The vast majority find the reality "on the ground" to be less troubling than how it looks on paper (or on screen), especially when they aren't walking around the resort with a black cloud hanging over them, and working with the CMs instead of against them, from the outset.

We were there last weekend (10-22-06) and the menu was the same.
Good thing, since my son wanted the steak!!!
He doesn't like mashed potatoes, so we ordered fries for him...
Our server was great, as was the meal.

Fantastic advice. Every time I've used the plan I've been surprised by how much is included. The cashier at the main street bakery said many items had their prices reduced below $4 so they could be included as snacks.
