I prefer the offsite lots. They are cheaper and more convenient. They drop off and pick up right at the terminal. No hassle of getting on the AirTrain with luggage. We use Smartpark. We like that they have the larger buses compared to regular vans. Check Groupon...they often have discounts.

I always appreciate when people report back, so thought I'd update and say we just used The Parking Spot for JFK and were very impressed. Easy to find using GPS from upstate NY and so convenient as everyone has reported with door to door service instead of navigating airport traffic.
