I just flew out of LGB on Jet Blue on July 1st (first time at LGB). I have to say that I liked the ease of security and the fact that they are able to load from both ends of the airplane at LGB (as the result of having to get on from the tarmac, same thing with Southwest at Burbank), which makes it go faster. There isn't a whole heck of a lot to do at LGB while waiting for your flight, but they do have free wifi. It'll be interesting when the new terminal is built at LGB. Jet Blue is my absolute favorite airline, even though they lost my bag when I was flying from New York to the San Francisco Bay Area (Oakland) with a layover in Boston.

Hey everyone...thanks so much for all of the replies and feedback. I am amazed that there was not one single negative review of JetBlue, which is a great sign.

Now, for all of you JetBlue lovers, because I went ahead and booked our trip today, be sure to watch airfares in the next few days because they are sure to plummet.

We love, love, love JetBlue. I have to book another flight tonight so I sure hope your right that the prices are about to plummet. You know Murphy's Law can be one man's joy....
