JetBlue is having some sort of flash sale right now. There are mid-week flights for $20 one-way from SMF to LGB and also OAK to LGB. I haven't checked other routes. I wish I could take advantage of these crazy cheap flights, but I can't be away from work mid-week like that this time of year. Hopefully others can jump on them!

That sounds awesome! Do you have a link? Or am I too late this time?

That's crazy good!! They still have flights, too! DisneyP, just go to JetBlue and when you pull up the flight calendar, the $20 flights are there!

I saw some super cheap fares and wish I could take advantage of them! I do have some vacation days left, but I don't think I can justify going in November when I'm already going in December :-P

Jetblue is starting to win me over again! I didn't get to partake in this deal but I was able to get non-stop flights from LAX-MCO for our MLK weekend cruise for $197 roundtrip per person! The cheapest I've ever done that route is about $325. And LGB-OAK we didn't get that cheap but about the equivalent of $115 in points round-trip for a flight for next month.

I was very tempted to grab a couple of $40 RT flights from Sacramento to Disneyland, but I just can't swing a trip in Oct or Nov. I'm already going in Dec :)

I know what you mean. I'm doing a solo trip later in Oct, but it has to be on a weekend due to work. I already have a family trip planned in mid-Dec. Some of the return flights might work for us but they are not $20 they are $49 during the time we'll be going. I'm hoping that SW has another $49 sale. I think they had one in Oct last year because I was able to grab some cheap flights for Dec last year. I also prefer SW because there are no change fees. My family has a hard time committing sometimes so it makes it so much easier for us if we need to change our dates or cancel.

I'm hoping for a SW flight sale also-based on years past it would be launched on Tuesday Oct 4.

Same here! I love SW. I usually grab the cheap flights in Dec. I get them in early June, usually, but it's so nice being able to change things around or cancel. I almost always use points so they just go back into my account. Just had to cancel a flight for this weekend for Tiki Day :( but at least I get the points back. My sister and I will be going on our annual trip the first week in Dec., but the flight I booked going down isn't the one I'd prefer so I'm keeping my eyes open for a cheap flight I can change to.

Oh! Good to know! Thanks.
