I'm starting to worry that I waited a little too long to book the first week in December.
When I checked JetBlue flights a couple weeks ago, the times we wanted for the non-stop flights from BOS to MCO were $183 for the outgoing on 12/2 (Tuesday) and $163 for returning on 12/8 (Monday). Now I haven't checked in a little while until tonight, and I see they are up to $199 each way.
I have seen it mentioned a lot that flights are usually cheapest 30-60 days before your flight for non-holiday weeks. I'm wondering if the first week in December counts as a holiday week since it's sort of the "holiday season"?
Part of me thinks, "Be patient, they might go back down" and part of me thinks, "Why didn't you book them 2 weeks ago dummy... you could have saved $104. Book them now so you don't lose more!" Do you guys think that the first week in December is going to continue to go up? The seat map makes it look like the planes are really empty, like only 20 or so seats picked, but I guess they could be booked and just not assigned yet?
