JetBlue: Connecting Flight at JFK

So I have a BUF TO LAX flight, with a connection at JFK, all on JetBlue.
Our flight has been changed to an earlier time, so we now have just over an hour in JFK (but the original flight schedule only gave us half an hour!)

My question: Will I have to pick up and re-check my checked luggage, or will it be checked through all the way? I'm debating between doing my bag as carry-on or checked. I hate the fight for overhead-bin space with carry-on luggage (I prefer to carry-on with just a small bag with my essentials), but I also don't want to have to deal with the hassle of re-checking my bag at JFK.

Your bag will be checked all the way through to LAX. One hour connection time is plenty at JFK for JetBlue.

Jet Blue has it's own terminal, which I'm sorry to say you won't have a lot of time to admire (it's really nice), but you won't have any issues with an hour connection.
