You might want to check yours, just in case. I never got an email letting me know, I just happen to be checking the ticket prices and noticed the change. It is for the better IMO because we will be arriving at MCO an hour earlier on the evening of the 1st so that give me more time to get settled in and more beauty sleep.

Yeah, they changed mine a few weeks ago, and I'm still waiting to hear from them. Coming home is a little later (good); arriving is a little more later (not so good). And at least according to the CSR I talked to, no 'free' changes. If I want to get on the morning flight, I have to pay the change fee and the additional ticket cost. Ah, well, those are the drawbacks of buying nonrefundable tickets :)

They changed our flight for tomorrow as well...to an hour later. I wasn't too pleased. They seem to be changing a LOT of flights. This is the 3rd flight I've had changed by them - the other time was just back in May. My mother's flight for next week was also changed. Sometimes I was notified by them - this time I got a call and an email, last time only an email, and the first time nothing. I just happened to check. It's really pretty irritating.

I just looked again. My flight times have changed - again. Now, each way, I'm departing at almost the same time I would have been arriving! Fine for the return trip, but heck, if I'd wanted to get to Disney after the parks all close, I would have booked that flight!

Hey Gang,

I hear this alot, and I strongly encourage you to call Jet Blue and let them know, because this is still happening.

I asked and I am told the crewmembers will try to Text, Email, and then finially call. I am not saying this goes for all the people that fly but this is just my thoughts as I have heard this is sometimes the case.

Some people use work email address, or work phone numbers. In that case those texts, emails, or calls will be going to those places.

Again that is not for all people and I am sure many use home email, or home phone and/or mobile phone and I am sure people do not get called.

But call Jet Blue and let them know. I understand it may seem useless, but after people keep calling and calling the system can be better updated and things can get uprouted. Also try to understand the A320 holds 150 people , if 4 flights get changed that is about 400+ ( minus kids ect..) that have to get notifed. And the Orlando route is a popular route :)

Sorry for the troubles :(, but Thank you for flying JB!~

We fly in 29 days...they changed our flights by only a few minutes. But, my dh is flying down 2 days later...booked him on the earliest flight out, 7am, but it disappeared! Seems he's now on the 8:10 flight...same flight I'm flying two days before him. That gets him into MCO an hour later....sue do hope they don't change it again...we have lunch plans with family at 1pm. It would have been nice to get an email alerting us to that change. I don't mind not getting told the flight is different by a few mins, but to cancel the flight and then put him on a completely different flight, an hour later, is just not good customer service. I really expected more from Jetblue.

BriBri - welcome back! You haven't posted in ages - and yes, you have been missed. Thank you for the advice. My e-mail address did change since my reservation - but my current address is on my TrueBlue account. Especially after the change I saw yesterday, I figure JetBlue is just waiting until they're sure before they notify me - and as we all know, the world does revolve around me ;

Thanks for letting me know. We arrive over an hour earlier now. There is only one flight from my town to Orlando everyday so I am hoping that no more changes are made before we leave in 65 days! I like getting there earlier but I do wish they had emailed. I get emails from them all the time so they do know how to contact me!

Mine changed by 55 minutes for Jan. 4th. Is this enough to ask for a free change?

Many Thanks

Charleyann

I need to get an I Phone, or an I Touch so I can keep up to date on this :)

I can not speak for the rules of free changes as rules can be read differently. My best advice is to call and let Jet blue know. Call or go to JetBlue.com go to the bottom of the page ( Contact Us ) then: Share concerns.

I am told we read every email and respond with a personal email, not with a computer generated email.

Ah, no....the world does, in fact, revolve around me!!! What were you thinking???:confused3

I'm really surprised by this. Most other airlines will let you change for free if they are the ones who change your original flight, and JB is often much better than other airlines when it comes to customer service. Have you tried calling back to see if you get a different answer? I hope you're able to change for free. If not, that really stinks.

We are flying out a one flight a day too. And I'm happy that it is arriving an hour early but DH and I had tossed around the idea of driving the 6 hr drive from Shrevport, LA in the morning, but now I think we will be driving down the day before the flight and stay overnight with my parents. I really wish I had been contacted too, I've never had a flight change, I guess I've been lucky so far.

I haven't yet, and I'm actually glad I didn't try a second time at the time. It went from a 1:50 departure to 3-something and now it's 4:05. The original flight was supposed to land at 4:55. But, I'll wait and see if they make more changes :teeth: At this rate, I expect to be arriving the next morning!

It seems they are are very haphazard about notifications. We flew Jun 26 - Jul 3. Both flights changed several months ago. I received a notification of the change of the flight down and of course saw the change to the return flight too when I checked the reservation. I assumed they just send one e-mail to each account.

So the day we were supposed to fly down I receive an e-mail from JetBlue right before we leave the house telling me of a flight change. My heart was pounding until I realized it was the notification for the change for the return flight that was made months earlier. Now why would they do that?

Nooo... I claimed it first. ;)

And who is older here??? And who wields all this glorious power around here?? Yeah, thought so. Earth revolves around me...period. Don't make me hit you with the stupid stick.:wizard:

Great. First I'm not allowed to be the Queen of All Things Disney. Now the world can't revolve around me. Next I bet you're going to tell me Goofy isn't a real dog...

I doubt it. Check out the contract of carriage on the JB site.

The 1 hour change doesn't bother me. I get to stay in warmer climate an hour more. I was just asking for a friend. We are travelling together but she leaves the day before. She wants to leave with me and was hoping a change inflight would enable to change hers to the next day!

No way, no how am I going back to Eastern Canada and it's long, winter any sooner thne I have too:lmao:
