Yes, there is, but be sure to use extreme caution!
You can take a cab over to the public beach on Paradise Island, and you will find plenty of jet ski vendors. But keep in mind that they are all independent, so there are no guarantees of how reputable they are or how well they take care of their equipment. Always check around and negotiate a price, as they are very competitive. They will quote high at first, and then undercut each other. And be wary of the equipment...hubby and I rented several times with no problem, but then we had a big problem. My jet ski was fine (I stay near shore anyway), but hubby, who likes to go way far out, had his konk out and no one was around to help him. He was stuck out there until he washed up to shore by some resort. He had a LONG walk back to the beach, and then he made the mistake of telling the vendor where he left the jet ski before demanding his money back. The guy sped away in a boat and that was the last we saw of him.
