We are taking Jet Blue on our trip home from Orlando to Boston in February. This will be our first time on Jet Blue and first time landing at Logan. Any thoughts about Jet Blue? What about advice about Logan, we are being picked up curbside from Terminal E.
Thanks!

You will LOVE JetBlue. They generally leave early (or at least on time) arrive early, and the seat back TVs are just AWESOME. The flight crew, ground crew, basically everyone we encountered was just delightful to deal with.

Terminal E is a bit of a drag as it is still under construction, but it is also the international terminal, and as long as you are not arriving at the same time as a bunch of international flights, you should be able to navigate the terminal just fine.

I think you'll really be pleased

Thanks!

We flew JetBlue out of Logan to Orlando back in September and the experiance was great. Terminal E is much less crowded so getting through security was a breeze. The service was very friendly and we took off on time and landed early. We have also flown Song and are scheduled to fly them in less than two weeks. They also have friendly service and we usually land early in Orlando.

JetBlue out of Boston can't be beat IMHO. Terminal E is not a major problem either. The security area is to the left of the counter, downstairs and usually goes very quickly. I just love the 6:30am flight, MCO by 9:30. You can start right away if you want.

Direct TV and friendly service with usually great air fare.

I don't know, but we're booked on R/T from Boston in March and I'm so excited with all the rave reviews it's gotten! We paid $192/ticket including tax for nonstop RT tix!

I agree with the above posters that JetBlue is great, and their staff cannot be beat! Every employee we have encountered (we have flown round trip twice from Boston to Orlando, and will be again in a couple of weeks) has been very friendly. They are now my first choice out of Boston. The tv's are a great feature too!
Good luck!

How early do you recommend arriving at the Terminal for your flight out of Logan? Since many comments mentioned that Jet-Blue often leaves early; I was curious.

Well, I can tell you, JetBlue only leaves early because they get the planes turned around and boarded so quickly. I don't think they will leave anyone behind.

I would reccommend the standard 1 1/2 to 2 hours to arrive at Logan. Then again, I am borderline OCD about being early to the airport.

I usually arrive 90 minutes before the flight, I would rather make sure that I have the time to get thru securityand get to the gate (even though the gate is almost right next to security)

I have never had a problem with the 90 minute window.

You will love JetBlue!! We have taken them twice from BOS to Orlando. The crews are friendly. The individual TV's at each seat are great. Both flights we have taken were on time. We always fly out of Logan because we live in the Boston area. I would definitely arrive 90 minutes ahead of departure.

Thank you all for your replies. Jet blue sounds like a great choice! And we got a great price to boot! $55 can't beat that!
We leave in 18 days! YEA!

My daughter took the 2:05 pm BOS to MCO JetBlue flight on Friday January 7th. We arrived at Terminal E at 12:45 pm and I parked in the short-term lot to go in and make sure she was through security OK. We had printed her boarding card before leaving home. The JetBlue departure gates are E-1A/1B on the right end of the terminal and if you have your boarding card you can go up the front stairs on the right end of the terminal a half level to get to security and not even go to the departures level and then back down to security (it's kind of a half level between the ground level arrivals and the one story up departures level - there is an elevator to get you there with luggage if you don't want to carry luggage up the stairs). There was no line and she was through security and out of site in less than a minute. I was back in the car and out of Logan on the way home by 12:55 pm. Pretty darn good for Logan.

Since you are being picked up, you'll come out on the ground level after getting your luggage and the door right across from the exit takes you to the limo/van area to meet your transportation. if someone is coming to meet you, have them go to Terminal E via the arrivals level (not departure level) on the entry circle and park in the short-term lot at terminal E. They can then walk a very short distance over to the terminal to meet you. Terminal E is the easiest in and out at Logan, unlike B,C, and D terminals and the congestion encountered there. There is no active Terminal E construction now except in the Customs area on the left end. Logan has active roadway construction all the time - nothing to do with terminal E in particular though.

Another Rochester JetBlue lover.

The other things I love about flying JetBlue - New Planes. More Room

I wish JetBlue would institute a non-stop from Rochester..... Then I'd be in pure Heaven!

We have used JB from Bos to Orlando 6 or 7 times so far and always had great service. We used to frequent AA but no more - JB beats them hands down. The nice leather seats, more legroom (esp row 14 and back!) and the TV are wonderful. More important to us, from the gate to the end of the trip all the empolyees are wonderful and treat you respectfully and courteously.

Just an FYI we usually have a Town Car from the airport to home as well and "curbiside at E" is just across the street. Grab your bags and head outside, cross straight ahead into the parking lot just in front of you. Not a big deal but not exactly curbside.

We flew Jet Blue from Logan for the first time in December and it was great! Can't imagine going with any other airline in the future. The individual tv's were great, 3 kids and no fighting! Besides the many channels, there were also 2 movies to choose from. Staff was excellent.

We arrived at Logan around 5 AM for our 6:30 flight, which was plenty of time. Use curb side check-in, it was a breeze. Have fun!

WOW! Thank you all for the great advice and enthusiasm for JetBlue! You have all made me feel much more at ease about Logan as well! I had heard horror stories! I guess if we have to leave Disney this sounds like the way to go!
Thanks Again!

Jet blue is the best , we use it out of JFK in NY 2 weeks ago and it was SNOWING when we left .
No delays right on time,,,even with the De-iceing. :cool1:

Does Jetblue have an e-mail notification system to inform you of promotions, or do you have to check on the site? Also, barring specials, do their fares change from week to week? Thanks for any info!
