Jet Blue Price Drop

I'm sure this has been posted a hundred times but i'm having trouble finding it through search: What happens if you book on JetBlue and the price drops? Can you get a credit like you can on Southwest and AirTran? TIA

Yes, but I don't think you can get it on their website, I've tried that and the $100 change fee per ticket appears. You have to call and they will set up the credit balance for you.

Yes, I have used the website to make the change, as long as the flight is exactly the same and there are sufficient seats. The credit is applied to an account that must be used 1 year from the date of the credit (this is different from SW where it is one year from date originally booked).

Yes you can. The best way is to keep track of the flights as one way flights so you can get the best credit and ALWAYS ask for your credits to be placed in 1 travel banks.. stress the one travel bank otherwise it's a NIGHTMARE to book your tickets with the credit

I just did this yesterday for my trip to Aruba with DD17 in June and now I have $340 in travel credits!! I had no idea JetBlue did this without charging a fee until I saw it posted on another travel board yesterday, thought it was only SW (and even better that JB gives you one year from the date of credit, not from the original booking date like SW).

I don't know if it can be done online but I have done it over the phone. It took a little bit of time but I was able to get close to $600 in credits back for my trip just before Easter (the flight prices were insane). They were very nice about it and were able to put it in one travel bank (it was for 5 passengers)
